As we all know CM Punk called himself the best in WWE, got me thinking we have allot of threads asking “Who is the best of ALL TIME?” but let’s narrow the field and only base it on superstars currently in WWE right now.
Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan, Chris Jericho etc. - These are all names that wouldn’t count - Perhaps they “were” the best, but they aren’t around anymore, so what about guys currently on the roster.
Who is the best in the entire WWE right now?

Best in the WWE today = John Cena. He makes the $$$, he headlines the PPVs, he has been "the man" for the longer than I can remember. Punk gave one good promo and now he is "the best"? nooo, nooo. Jericho said it because for a time, it was true. Punk has done nothing to make that claim true. CENA is the answer.

I think that wrestling in WWE Christian may be the best , punk for sure is up there as is Jo Mo in my opinion

Whoever personally entertains each one of us is the best in our opinion. It's useless to try and argue who is the best, because what somebody thinks makes one guy the best might be the same thing that somebody else thinks makes that guy the worst!
Right now, I can say that recently I have been the most entertained by CM Punk. Some people may agree, some people may disagree. But in the last few weeks, his character has been the most interesting and entertaining.

I hope people know that Punk was extremely popular before his awesome worked shoot promo.
That said, I absolutely choose Punk. I'm not going by who gets the biggest reaction or draws the most (in which case we'd obviously be at Cena) but in terms of being a wrestler and being on the mic, Punk is above all right now, with Orton in a close second. Orton's been having great matches and his feud with Christian has been fantastic. I love Christian but Orton's at the top of his game.
What kills Cena the most is that he gets in these great feuds and the matches tend to suck. And I'm not blaming Cena, it's just the way they book the matches. It's very Hogan-esque and doesn't make for entertaining programming.

I have to agree with you, his Mic skills may be acceptable but at the end of the day John Cena is just Muscle and i think he would be alot better if the PG era died also i saw this match it was Velocity 2003 John Cena vs Bryan Danielson. Cena actually wrestled fairly good in that match but i think now that hes so popular i think Vince thinks that he can just wrestle how ever he likes and he will still sell merchandise. |

punk easily cena is a commercialized product. LMFAO, brilliant argument there  my favourite is probably mark henry, because he seems to be less commercial than the main eventers, he sells less shirts and figures. seriously though, del rio. |
