I have had a pretty successful run in Sims National Wrestling thus far. After finishing up training for the promotion, I went on to become the first Student's Cup holder. Shortly thereafter, I entered the tag team scene along with Gavin Hart. We had some success, but nothing out of this world. After a while, we split, but there were no hard feelings. Unfortunately for Gavin, his career didn't really go far after the split. I, on the other hand, moved up the ranks in SNW. Eventually, I was in the hunt for the FUSE Championship, which was more than an honor. At "Purple Haze", during SNW's Jimi Hendrix weekend, I defeated Sam Kineval in a Submission match and became FUSE Champion. I went on to set the record for most defenses of that Championship. Over in the National Wrestling League, I was making waves and becoming a big deal with the IWC after a series of matches with my all time favorite opponent, Ace Bennett. Ironically, it was Bennett's FUSE Title defense record that I broke. Anyway, after several classics in NWL and a very fun tag team run as the "Smokin' Aces" in Twin City Wrestling, our paths had to cross in SNW. Bennett was riding high as the SNW World Heavyweight Champion when I won the FUSE Title. Finally, at "Dude, Where's My Moped?" we met in a Champion vs. Champion match. On that night, Bennett protected himself and his belt by walking out of the ring and getting counted out. Then, the "Smokin' Aces" reunited as SNW's two singles Champions teamed up in a Best of the Duos qualifier. We still had some unresolved issues, which led to a disappointing loss, followed by Bennett leveling me with the SNW World Title. Double shot weekends seemed to be my thing. After winning the FUSE Title during Hendrix weekend, my biggest defense ever was booked for the Beatles weekend. At "Strawberry Fields Forever", the main even had my FUSE Title on the line against SNW World Champion, Ace Bennett. After a grueling 27 minutes of excellent wrestling, I forced Bennett to submit to the Sharpshooter and as the stipulation stated, I was now granted a World Title shot at anytime I wished. Shortly thereafter though, I dropped the FUSE Title in my hometown under some shady circumstances, which was very disappointing, but my focus would now shift to only the SNW World Title. Things would drastically change very soon though. I received a call from the WWE, letting me know that they were interested in me. I agreed to a meeting with one of their talent scouts in New York. It was just for discussions and nothing else, but of course, word hit the internet and the SNW fans who once loved me, were now chanting "you sold out" towards me. I went to the top of SNW and presented them with an idea I had. They liked the idea, so we went with it. At "Family Reunion", the first show after Riot Act IV, I came out, to more "you sold out" chants and cut a promo. Kevin Hart: About a year and a half ago, nobody knew who I was. I was a punk kid teaming with Gavin Hart and we proclaimed to be the "real" Hart Foundation. Looking back, I think that was wrong, because it was a slap in the face to Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart. I took on the Hart name because I idolized Bret growing up, not to spit on what he's done throughout his career. I looked back at Bret's storied career the other night and I found the single greatest thing he ever did. It was in 1997, when he took notice and realized just how fickle wrestling fans truly are. Whether it's 1997 or present day, you people never change. You turned your backs on me because of a rumor that I had a meeting with the WWE. First of all, I gave you people my blood, sweat and tears and you flipped the script on me in a drop of a dime. Second, to be perfectly honest, if I did have a meeting with the WWE and if I were to sign with them, that is not selling out. I have a family to feed and with the economy the way it is, the WWE may be the best place for me. But right now, my issue isn't actually with you people. Once I saw that story hit the press, I knew you'd all turn your backs, so I prepared myself for it. What I didn't prepare myself for was SNW turning their backs on me. You see, after I beat Ace Bennett and secured an SNW Title match at anytime I wanted, I waited for my time. Growing up, I saw more pro wrestling shows at the Hammerstein Ballroom than any over venue, so when I heard SNW was doing an iPPV there, I went straight to the top and discussed having my SNW Title match in that building. Thing seemed to go well in that meeting, but once the WWE rumor hit, everything turned sour. I got a call saying I would be in a FUSE Title match that night instead, because they were suddenly bringing in Dragon Kid to face Bennett. I'm a company guy though, so I let it slide. Then Riot Act IV came and instead of me getting the Title shot I earned, SNW instead grants their "golden boy", Henry Edwards the shot. As we all know, Edwards went on to win his 3rd SNW Title, while I still have yet to get even one shot. If you people and SNW want to stab me in the back then it's fine, I don't need any of you. It may just push me out the door and make all the rumors true. Or it could very well send me over the edge. I guarantee that I will get my rightful Title shot, even if I have to make everyone in SNW tap out...especially Henry Edwards.

Wow man this is amazing so far. You cut a true heel promo, while still seeming pretty innocent at the same route. Good job so far, I can't wait to see if you make it into the WWE and team with the Hart Dynasty or so. Good luck.

F'N amazing man. I loved every minuite of it, fancy doing one of them for each roster member, just kidding. I loved it and you've made a great story out of the SNW title situation. Can't wait to see what you do in this alternative SNW universe and eventually onto a bigger company. Good luck and please keep this up.

You've got off to a great start here, Kev. I really love how you're doing an alternative universe that involves SNW, NWL, etc. because it's a really unique idea that I don't recall being used for a first person diary before. Good luck!

Guts and Glory I was so pumped after cutting what was, in my opinion, the best promo of my young career. I had now taken the fans disliking of me and turned it into something that could be golden. Moments before I began writing this, Ace Bennett & I were wrapping up a segment we filmed backstage for Guts and Glory. It involved Ace & I agreeing that we are the two best wrestlers in the history of SNW. Not only have we both dominated the FUSE Title ranks, but once I got my chance, I'd dominate the SNW World Title picture, much like he did. We knew that we were better than not only the rest of the roster, but the rest of the world. So, during the segment we announced that the "Smokin' Aces" would be enterting this year's Clash of the Duos show at the Hammerstien Ballroom. Ironically, the first show I'd ever seen live at the Hammerstien Ballroom was an ECW TV taping that featured an entire tag team tournament. So competing in a tag tournament on that night would be pretty big for me. Now though, I have a match to compete in at the "Guts and Glory" show.

Kevin Hart defeated Jason Williams in 11:41 via the Sharpshooter
______________________________________________________________ To be honest, I'm a little disappointed in the performance I just gave out there. It has been a while since I worked a full on heel style, so it may have been rust, but I wasn't as crisp as I wanted to be on certain things. Regardless, I'm still having a blast being a heel. As the great Chris Jericho said on his dvd, being a heel is so much fun because you can color outside of the lines, which is exactly what I plan on doing. I got some serious heat from the crowd tonight. Anyway, before the next SNW event, I have to go defend my MLW Heavyweight Championship in my home country of Canada against the hottest guy in that company, Chris Hammers. I have no idea who's set to win, but Chris & I have always had some great chemistry.

Good to see where your going with the heel Hart character, maybe abit early to start teaming Ace and Hart since they were and still kinda are rivals. I can see you booking the team strong in Clash of the Duos since thier a new team. Hart being disappointed adds realism to this. Can't wait to see where you go with this. Hart/Hammers should be a great match esp since its a title bout. Good luck and keep this up.

I arrive in my home country for another show with Maple Leaf Wrestling. Since day one, I've been a major player here, and am their current Heavyweight Champion. Over time on the indies I've developed a friendship and great chemistry with Chris Hammers. He's been on an absolute tear lately in MLW and just moments before the event, we go over our match. The crowd is pretty hot tonight and we're ready to put on what will hopefully be a classic.

I wasn't surprised that MLW put the belt on Hammers, he has just been excellent as of late. I wonder where I go from here in MLW. Even if discussions with the WWE continue, I'd like to stick around in my home country's promotion as long as I can because it's something I truly take pride in. This is also the only company I'm currently playing the face role, and although I absolutely love being a heel, it's nice to have a place where I still get the big pops. Speaking of other promotions, I have an appearance set for Twin Cities Wrestling coming up. Recently I lost a match there, which forced myself and Ace Bennett to split up our successful "Smokin' Aces" team. It will be a lot of fun to team with him again in SNW, but over in TCW, I'm set up to face one of my favorite opponents and fellow Canadian, Cody Rejero. After that, it's back to SNW, where big things are about to happen.

Excellent writing so far and I'm really enjoying this. Mentioning actual sign up feds like SNW, MLW, and TCW add a nice touch and make things a lot more realistic. I'm interested to see if you get booked with any major promotions or if you do eventually sign with WWE. Either way, this is gonna be fantastic. Keep this up man, I love it.

Working for Twin Cities Wrestling has been a joy to be honest. I've had a lot of fun in my tag team with Ace Bennett. Unfortunately, we lost a match recently that forced us to split as a team. So I'm hoping I get pushed towards a singles Title. As of right now, I'm in between storylines so I'm kind of just floating around getting my reputation up as a singles competitor. Tonight, I face Cody Rejero, who is a great worker in his own right. Little did I know that things were going to get interesting after this show and before my trip back to SNW.

All in all, not my best match ever, but still really good I think. We did a pretty big spot where I missed a suicide dive and crashed into the guardrail. It hurt like hell and I doubt I'll be doing that again soon. Anyway, I hope that after just a few more singles matches, I'll get to do something big here in TCW. I also just found out what's going down at the next SNW show and I'm pretty excited. I get to perform in a big match as well as cut my first promo since the big heel turn promo. While on my way to the SNW show, I received a phone call, but it wasn't from the WWE. This time, TNA was making an effort to get in touch with me. I've been wrestling professionally for just about two years and here I was, with a big storyline going in SNW and phone calls from the top two promotions in the entire world. The question I now had, was whether or not I should go have a meeting with TNA.

I can't wait to see where Kevin goes... TNA or WWE eventually? I'm really liking the diary so far, the first person point of view, everything. It's brilliant. Keep up the fantastic work.

This is very awesome man. Love how you are talking about what you are doing in the sign ups like SNW. Smokin' Aces in Clash of Duos would be epic. This is one of my favorite diaries on the board right now, even though it just started. Very cool indeed. Keep it up.

This is really good man, very well written. It's a great idea, so I'm hoping this will last a good while, as it has legs to stand on. I don't think you'll sign with TNA nor WWE, just my "prediction" of sorts.

I like the style of this. The writing seems pretty good and I do enjoy the layout of your entries. The options of BOTH TNA and WWE seem a little unrealistic and I hope you stay indy for a little bit longer. Keep it up man, would love to see a DSJ appearance here and there.

In a Galaxy Far, Far Away
It turns out, no matter how much I disagree with a lot of what TNA does as a company, I wouldn't mind trying out for them. That's right, Kevin Hart has agreed to a tryout match for TNA Wrestling. It's scheduled as a dark match for an upcoming iMPACT taping. I figured that I have nothing to lose from trying out and there are a few things about TNA that I do like. The chance to work with AJ Styles, the Motor City Machine Guns and Robert Roode. Right now though, my focus is on tonight's SNW show. I get my first official microphone time since that big promo I cut a few weeks back. I don't know if I can recapture the magic from that night again, but I will try for sure.
"City" by Hollywood Undead hits as I came down to the ring with my new theme song. I went and grabbed the microphone once I hit the ring.
Kevin Hart: We all know what the biggest news around SNW is right now, and that's the impending appearance of Kurt Angle at the Clash of the Duos. To be honest, I hope Kurt is either listening to this or finds out about it when someone tweets it during or after the show. Hear me out loud and clear Kurt, "I don't like you." Don't get me wrong, I respect you and appreciate everything you've done in this business. But, your time has passed Kurt. You can no longer claim that you are the best in the world because you just simply aren't. I'll tell you who the best is right now, and his name is Kevin Hart. If I wasn't planning on winning the Clash of the Duos with Ace Bennett, you better believe that I would take you out on one of those three nights. In fact, now that I think about it, I just may confront you even if I'm competing in a tag match, because I truly am the best. By the way people, don't think this is just aimed at Kurt Angle. This is also for you, Henry Edwards. I dislike, yet respect Kurt, but I dislike and don't respect you. I feel that you are overrated and overachieving. I absolutely hate the fact that you are a three time SNW Champion while I have yet to get a shot, when it's so clear that I am simply better than you. I promise you that my time will come Henry, and when it does, the SNW Championship will be around my waist.

Just like our match in TCW, myself and Cody Rejero put on another solid effort tonight. The most important thing tonight though was the pre-match promo. Not only did it plant more seeds for the Henry Edwards angle, but it set things in motion for Kevin Hart and Kurt Angle. I really hope this means I'll get to have a match with Angle. More big news is set though as on the next SNW show, there will be a bit of a Clash of the Duos preview when the Smokin' Aces take on Cody Rejero and Jason Williams. Can't wait to tag with Ace Bennett again, it's been too long.
