I'd like to thank the Japanese team. They saved America from the brink of caring about soccer... Not really, we dominate womens soccer. The kicker is its not that Americans dont like soccer, its we dont like women's sports. So its really a win-win....or lose-lose depending on which side you're on.

Its more enjoyable to watch. Nothing like watching people playing catch for 3 hours. Baseball/softball gets better ratings then soccer so I guess the majority enjoys watching people play catch.
