Schindler's ListThis film really challenges the emotions. It had me on edge a lot of the time and feeling uncomfortable quite a bit too. The ending had me filling up and is as rewarding as it's going to get. I think knowing its a true story really does play into this movies favour as even as horrific as it is, you know that even worse went on. Merciless depiction of the Nazi's nonetheless. Ralph Fiennes performance is outstanding in this one by the way. 12 Angry MenIt's amazing how well the themes of this movie hold up 60 years after it was made. Prejudice and injustice being the major ones. It's just a great movie, one that you can really lose yourself in because the dialogue is so strong. Fantastic performances all around really letting this title live up to its billing of one of the greatest films ever made. Pulp FictionYou just have to admire the attention to detail in this movie. Everything serves a purpose. Character's backgrounds and personalities established through very clever and witty dialogue. There's a lot going on in this movie but it's paced so well that you never lose track. It's action packed and beautiful in a gritty sort of way. There's not one actor not on top of their game in this with stand out performances going to Travolta, Jackson and Thurman. It's classic Tarantino and I'd go as far as to say it's genius.

Syrup.
I only watched this because of Amber Heard, truth be told...and sadly not even she could help it. A mess of a film.

American Pie presents: Beta House. Way better than The Naked Mile imo, this one didn't feel like it dragged on the way The Naked Mile did. This one had a red line and it followed it to more or less perfection.

Suicide Squad.
Bit late to the party, but then again I'm not a DC guy...never have been. I took 'Make Mine Marvel' literally as a kid, I guess. That was how it was back then; you chose a side (for me). Marvel over DC, WWF over WCW (until the MNW and then back again), Sega over Nintendo, etc.
I went in as a fan of comic books and comic book films, and ended up with my left hand supporting my head throughout the film...
I don't know how it's doing so well (not that I begrudge it - it's just not for me...but I had to see for myself I suppose). It's certainly not the worst film I've seen but that's not high praise either...I didn't care. I couldn't care, really.

And they knew exactly WHO to market the film towards.. I personally don't believe this movie is racking up cash due to DC fans dying to see this film 3-4 times.. Absolutely some of them have gone back for 2nds.. But I believe this movie is making money off of urban, punk, and hot topic type people with ALOT of teenagers. 16-18 year old me would have probably loved Suicide Squad entirely too much.

Oh, of course - I didn't want to presume too much...here in Oz I haven't seen that much advertising for it but then again I tend not to be aware of what DC properties do. I can still remember though as a 15 year old reading a mate of mine's Superboy comics (when he was The Metropolis Kid) and their version of the Suicide Squad...the only one I recall that it was in that iteration and the movie and this one was Captain Boomerang.
