The WitchI've been looking forward to seeing this for ages and I really wasn't disappointed. Not a film full of jump scares but my word was it ever creepy. The atmosphere in this is incredibly tense and unnerving. I think it achieves exactly what it set out to do and I was extremely impressed with it.

I just watched War Dogs. I really enjoyed it, but the two issues I had was that the movie wasn't long enough and the dissension between Hill and Teller did not build long enough. Other than that, I thought it was really good. Exactly.. Their issues came out of nowhere for no reason.. The only thing I can figure out is that Jonah Hill's character just got crazy hooked on cocaine or whatever and that's why there was such a change.. Because the guy we meet in the first half of the movie is not the same guy we see by the end.. And it literally comes out of nowhere.. This hardworking loyal friend becomes a lazy backstabber.. Didn't make any sense. To me they alluded to Hill's character being a sleezeball who often screws over his partners, but there weren't many hints or events to him doing it to Teller throughout the movie to build tension. Like with Hill going rogue against Cooper, that should have been the catalyst of in-fighting not the end all be all.

T2 TrainspottingOh wow. I was really dreading this coming out. Being such a fan of the first film I felt it was best left alone as the masterpiece it is. I had a couple of hours spare today and thought what the heck? I'll check it out. Going in with such low expectations meant I wouldn't be too disappointed. I didn't expect to be blown away, and I really was. This is an outstanding film. I don't want to compare it to the original and say it's as good because it's such a lofty standard that it would be too difficult to achieve. However, this is an excellent film. I was so pleasantly surprised. It's an emotional rollercoaster, with laugh out loud moments to moments where you're holding back the tears. I left so happy that this film was great and I can't wait to watch it again.

I rewatched Deadpool this afternoon. Words can't describe how much I enjoy it. By far Marvel's best film in my opinion.

TrainspottingAfter still being on a high after yesterday's viewing of the sequel I really fancied watching this. I've said it before but this is a masterpiece. Just an epic hour and a half of British cinema that evokes all of the emotions, genuinely hard to watch in places and laugh out loud in other. Amazing soundtrack and sublime performances all around from the cast and director.

Kick-Ass. Honestly, very enjoyable. Also, I legit thought the dad was the drummer from the Red Hot Chili Peppers until I looked it up on IMDB. Uncanny mate. Also, it was far more gruesome than I thought it would be. Didn't expect that level of violence, not that it was a bad thing though.

Wiener-Dog. I liked Danny Devito here, but this just wasn't my type of film. I did laugh out loud at the ending
