Highlander Forgot how much I liked this movie. I just wish the sequels were better. I can’t bear to watch the sequels. Absolutely killed the whole point of the first movie. I don’t want to mention specifics because of spoilers.

X-Men Apocalypse
I love the X-Men movies but Days of Future Past is still my favorite of the franchise. And it sucks Jackman doesn't wanna do Wolverine anymore.

I don’t want to mention specifics because of spoilers. I wouldn't worry about spoilers at this point. The newest movie in the franchise is 11 years old, and I think most people know the bare bones of the first movie even if they haven't seen it. I will say that Mulcahey's Renegade version of H2 is better than the original release, but that movie is still crap. The best sequel was definitely Endgame, and even that's not saying much. Usually I'm in the camp of not caring about continuity issues, but as if adding the bullcrap alien backstory wasn't bad enough...we're supposed to just not question how MacLeod and The Kurgan fought in The Gathering when there were apparently immortals still alive everywhere it seems. Did they not get the memo? What the hell's going on here? Yes, I get that the original movie didn't do gangbusters at the box office, and the sequels only came about because of Highlander becoming a cult classic, but the first movie tied everything up so neatly for what it was. Any sequels should have filled in the gaps in the story that came before the first movie. They didn't even all have to star MacLeod. There was a lot they could have done.

Totally agree with everything you said. Prequels would have been so much better and more interesting. We wouldn’t have had MacLeod but Sean Connery could have taken a proper lead role in the film and we could have had his back story ... which seemed really interesting. I love how the first movie had a Scotsman play a Spaniard and a Frenchman play a Scot.

Ready Player One
This movie was pretty great, a very Spielberg movie, has that magic. Though a few of the cameos i had no clue about.

After taking a three years to the day break from Netflix DVD, this has been everything I've watched since returning, and what I thought. I wish they would let you do half-stars because some stuff I watched that I gave three-stars to was either on the border of 2.5 or 3.5. It's not quite accurate, but close enough. Was "I Spit on Your Grave" the original or remake?

I’m a big blade runner fan, as well as a fan of the novel it’s based on, but I haven’t yet seen the sequel. Good to see you rate it high.

Just sat through the entire LotR movies at work today! God they are so much better than the crappy Hobbit films.

Insidious Chapter 3.
I was under the assumption it was a horror movie. I was wrong.
