I was looking on ebay, and saw these 'prototypes' of some old Mattels (series 1&2). cgi.EBAY LINK NOT ALLOWED/WWE-basic-series-R-Truth-HHH-Edge-Cena-6Pcs-Prototype-/110714323432?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19c71681e8 They look like they are spraypainted a metallic silver/blue, but maybe they are prototypes, and have an odd coloring. Also, on Truth's legs, you can see the blue of his jeans under the paint, and some yellow on Edge's knee. |

Probably real, they're from China. You shouldn't be posting them here though because they are stolen from the factory.

Noone has any logos, and Cena has no armbands, so these are real, IMO.

If you look at HHH's knee you can see he skin color right above the knee pad. Idk about these. Actually you can see skin color on the others too more-so Edge and Ted.

The thing is, Cena has no color change where his arm bands would be. Same goes for Edge's tats. The color is the same the whole way through, and no change is evident where a tattoo or arm band would be. SO I think these are legit, if not, it still wouldn't shock me. I'm pretty sure they're stolen merchandise, anyways.

There was another guy from HK with zero feedback on ebay selling testshots. Not this guy.
His were test shots not prototypes.
They have smudges all over the place cos they just meant to illustrate what the real one looks like upon production.
Some people like to collect them, no big deal.

I was thinking the same thing about them appearing fake. The only possible reason for them being spray painted with primer is they are the test shots, and the primer is to make a uniform color prior to being hand-painted (for prototype/promo shots).
...HOWEVER, there is a "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan that is clearly spray painted.
I bought an Ultimate Warrior prototype this week. The head was pink, and the rest of the figure was unpainted.

They're test shots. Cenas legs are blue. In the knees of Edge, the colors are yellow.
