Cena wears bigger/looser shirts, so I think he'd look best with the soft plastic/rubber shirt. Orton wears them pretty tight so it comes off as a little bulky. I think that's the problem people see in it. I like the idea for half-shirts like Mysterio is wearing. I think they look great for that style.

I think Orton's figure is good, but the rubber shirt destroys it! It just looks to bulky...

terrible idea. absolutely terrible.
those little "snaps" will break so easily...ugh. rubber shirts suck. I'd rather have him come with a chair & microphone than a rubber shirt.
if mattel can't afford to give an elite figure a cloth shirt they shouldnt bother making them at all.

I think i remember in the video of the slideshow, they said it was "something they were trying" If we give enough negative feedback, I think they will go with fabric. Unless the rubber costs less, which I really dont see

It looks horrible.
I always hated the rubber skirts Jakks made for the divas and this is no different.
Fabric shirts or give him a different item..

Mattel wants to do away with cloth items as it costs them more to make, so i think this randy orton is a test run to see if they can just all in all scrap the cloth shirts. back when i posted the rumoured line ups , i was also told this, im surprised to see the plastic shirt anyhow... i dont really like it

overall i am not a big fan probably the worst figure from this series but i am also bored mattel has released so many orton figures that i am soo bored i cant take it they should take a break and do other superstars

rubber shirt is awful, black tattoos instead of half grey half black are awful, pretty much this figure is a pass for me.

That shirt is awful. The hair color is wrong too. I wasn't buying this to begin with but I think Mattel gave me plenty of reasons to not want it at all. I can't stress enough how awful I think that shirt looks.

You can tell there are holes on the side where the shirt is removable. This is so the holes don't get in the way of back designs.

Also, I really wish they would've included Slater in this set rather than another Orton. Gabriel without Slater just looks weird  Cena should've been given the rubber shirt. He'll sell to kids regardless, and it's his purple look that hasn't been released in the Eltie line, yet, so a lot of people will buy it no matter what the shirt is made out of. Slater should've been in this set rather than Orton. However, I see this set as a very costly one for Mattel. I mean, c'mon guys. We're getting DBD (new scan/belt), Cena (cloth shirt/hat/dogtags/purple gear), Gabriel (new scan/cloth shirt), Del Rio (cloth scarf/A  ING DOG), Debut Kane (new scan/talk box thingy), and Papa Shango (new scan/hat/little stick accessory thing/necklace). That's A LOT of new scans and accessories. All in all, I'd say Del Rio's dog put them over the limit. However, it's a nice touch to the figure. |

If it's a sleeveless rubber shirt like on DM 4 Undertaker it's fine. But if it has sleeves then I'd imagine it'll restrict the articulation in the arms, which kind of sucks. Either way, the cloth shirts are much better.

I love the rubber shirt on orton. I think it looks pretty cool and I love how there are logos on the back. I don't see what people hate about it to be completely honest with you. The shirt looks like it fits fine IMO. I'm not a huge fan of the scan, I'll most likely acetone off the hair to make him bald. Overall I think it's a really cool figure I can't wait to get it.
