Many people have been writing about how the E11 proto does not match Punk's MITB attire against John Cena. However, this attire was not intended to match the MITB attire. I thought a lot of people already knew this  . It's cool though, at first I thought the trunks were the same. Was it Punks first time wearing those trunks at MitB? |

Why is CM Punk holding Alberto Del Rio's dog? ..and who is that chick? Its a promotional pic for Summerslam around either his ECW or World Championship reign timeframe. Either way, Alberto wasn't in the WWE at the time. |

I pretty much knew it was an attire he's had for awhile but just wore it at an event that Mattel decided to use. I think one of the first times he wore it was possibly when he won the IC title in Chicago? Ill have to go back and look again

I don't think anyone assumed this was the MITB attire. Although, I do question if Punk wore this attire when he had short hair? I don't remember it?
No one seems to care, but I would have much preferred the hair to look slicked back and be black. I will probably end up painting his hair if does show up and it's that brown hair with black facial hair mix. I know when it was shorter it was lighter and more brown but the more I look at the pictures the more that is starting to bother me. Maybe they will have a more recent look with the slicked back look that I can swap out. Either way, it's still an amazing figure I just would have liked that look.
It's a shame they used this attire now though, as I think the MITB attire could have been a DMs figure. I don't know if they would do it since it's so close to the E11 attire. Maybe down the road.
