Does anyone else here think that Mark Ruffalo is going to butcher the role of Bruce Banner? Bruce Banner is supposed to look serious and have a look that there is always something bothering him, Ruffalo looks like a person that doesn't take anything serious. But! The new Hulk looks amazing and fits the comic look of the Hulk, Thats one good thing that came out of a new person playing the Hulk.

Zodiac would be a great example of Ruffalo "looking serious as if there's something that's always bothering him".
Same goes for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. You pretty much get the impression that he knows something the entire film, and he's conflicted by it.

Ruffalo is great but does he make a good fit as Banner ?? Personally no, Banner in mind mind has the opposite look the Hulk, Kind of skinny with the average joe kind of look. Mark Ruffalo always seems to have the heavy look on him, like he just recent gain a little weight or something. especially in his face , hi looks a little to big. This has nothing to do with his skills as an actor but if you don't look right for the part then it just make the movie seem a little off.

I hate this commonality of Mark Ruffalo being a great actor. Every movie I've seen him in, he's been in a filler role. ESOTSM, Zodiac, Shutter Island, etc. Put in ANYONE in those roles and it would've been the same character. I know, I know, he's trendy and all, but please, do not call him a great actor. I don't dislike him, I just think the role of Bruce Banner, ESPECIALLY after Norton, is out of his element.
