Earlier today, Kevin Nash tweeted the following to CM Punk:
Punk if you want back up you got my number.Your worth me going back on the road full time.Offer stands understand if you want to go it alone
What do you guys think about that? I don't know if Punk needs a bodyguard now, especially if he's going the face route. If he was still a heel I'd welcome this idea but I don't think Nash would do much for him now seeing as he's a tweener/face.
Thoughts?

I was just talking bout this I would love it just for the fact Nash is on T.V.

If Diesel or even just Kevin Nash as himself, became Punk's new bodyguard I would actually start liking Punk a little more.
This is something I'd really like to see.

I see a ROH Invasion angle going to happen. Reason's CM Punk "new" theme is one from ROH. The Kings of Wrestling are going straight to active roster passing the developmental stage. And Colt Cabana is probably coming back as well. So I could see a ROH Invasion angle at least going into Survivor Series with a traditional Survivor Series Match. My opinion.

I don't really think Punk is going the face route. I think being a tweener would work best for his current character, maybe with a little more heelish but not a complete heel tactics. Nash as his body guard would be cool to see, but it's not needed.

Anything to get Nash/Diesel back on tv would be pretty cool, but again, I'm not sure what it would do for Punk's character based on the direction he's going right now.
Maybe Big Daddy Cool could come back and be a bodyguard for someone else? Perhaps Alberto Del Rio?

I wouldn't mind seeing Nash back in a limited wrestling role. To put over a few of the bigger guys and make them seem important. Such as Wade Barrett.

Great Idea for Nash to be a manager/bodyguard. But for someone who needs it more like Christian to help get him even more over, CM Punk is so hot right now he needs nothing

Nah but i do want Nash on TV but Punk doesn't need a bodyguard to hold him down like SES and Nexus did he needs to go solo or have a real legit faction

Anything to get Kevin Nash back on WWE TV weekly is fine with me. Nash is awesome.

I'm all for seeing Nash on TV again, but not sure if Punk's bodyguard is the way to do it.

I'd love to see it.
It'd make sense really considering the hostility towards Punk and the fact it can play on HHH re-signing him.

big kev all about makin' that money, eh? After reading that, a part of me thought that this is just Nash's way of cashing in on Punk's popularity. He totally seems like that type of guy despite having a fun personality according to other wrestlers.

Would be cool to see, but it's not needed.
As someone mentioned above, it would be cool to see him with Christian. Now that's a good idea.

This isn't a knock on Nash but I couldn't see him as a Punk's bodyguard. Normally babyfaces don't have bodyguards (except Goldberg) and Nash should represent the type of wrestler (backstage politics and poor workrate) that Punk dislikes. They're just two different personalities.

I don't mind the idea of Nash on tv, but not with Punk. Unless Punk gets paired with old ROH buddies, I'd rather see him go solo.
If anything it would maybe be worth a laugh to have HHH appoint Kevin as some sort of assistant GM or another random on-air "corporate" position.

I don't think Nash would fit as Punk's bodyguard at this point. Punk is big enough without needing the assistance. I do think however that Nash would be good for somebody who's up and coming.

Tyson Kidd is the ideal person for Nash to be involved with.
