lol. i think the jarrett figure cost $5 at big lots... That's what I was thinking. The Jarrett probably cost more! Actually those figures could be found at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Even at those stores the TNA singles and TRU 5(?)-Pack had to be clearanced. I remember seeing the singles for $3 and the pack for $9 but its possible the price went lower at some stores. This has to be one of the greatest repacks ever.

What's really sad is that it is completely possible that this switch was made when the Pillman cost full price. So this awful switch possibly sat on the Target shelves for several months with the store either not noticing, or just praying that someone, anyone, would buy it as the sticker price slowly fell down to under $4.

That's pretty sad. I think my local TRU is starting to get like this too. The last two times I was there, it was packed more than normal. The checkout line was the longest I'd seen since the holiday season. I couldn't figure out why so many people were suddenly there but figured it was good for TRU's business and went to look at the WWE section, like always.
When I looked at the TRU Vince display, I was a bit bummed out to find that several figures were stolen! There was a Basic Eve package that was ripped open along with two empty, repackaged boxes for Elite Luke Gallows and Randy Orton. It was a sad sight, especially with the picked out display being restocked with 2-3 cases of Elite Series 3 figures!

That is so ed up and sad. They can't pay $4 and some change so they rip it off? People are too much...

You're probably right, I didn't think of that. I was assuming he bought it at $4. The story is funnier at $3.72 but still not very nice.

I'm guessing the Pillman was more expensive when the person made the switch.

maybe the reason it is soo cheap is because of the switch?
