Simmers must apply for their diaries to be entered for the Ladder throughout July August. Twin Cities Wrestling. I didn't think it's get the number of votes it did last time, I'm pretty sure it'll get more this time around when I have all these great things happening.

Maybe its just me so I'm throwing it out there, I prefer the old Spotlight voting. Seemed better, easier and had more votes. Anyway you can put Indy USA up there if you like, don't know how active it is though.

Throw 98 in there again. Even though I'm always the bridesmaid when it comes to this.

Fine. I'll leave this up until the 10th of August and then place the applicated diaries in a pole. I just thought the ladder was a nice different way of doing things.

May as well throw WWE: EoA in there. Maybe actually get a vote this time round.

throw 2001 in there I guess. also, I like the ladder better since it gives viable reason why someone should actually have the spotlight.

I'm not saying "lets go back to the old way" its just a suggestion. Maybe it should be put to a vote. In my opinion, it was nice to try to try something different but I prefer the old way of voting. Maybe merge parts into the old version with reasons needed?

I agree with Red Dragon.
I like the Ladder, it seems more fun and competitive. But at the end of the day it's still just a modified poll.
I'd like to see the Ladder stay but all comments made during the voting be posted (anonymously) for everyone to see. Great way to improve your diaries, imo.

I think a second post with the comments which people make about the diary they are voting for would definitely be good. Obviously keep it anonymous, but at least the writer will know what is good about they're diary, and what is good about the others. I can't say I'm fussed about either setup for the Spotlight, but I think Red Dragon makes a valid point.

What is the point of having the comments made during voting be posted? You would think that the comments would reflect the replies you are getting on your own thread, thus making it kind of useless. The only people that it would help is those who don't get the number of replies others get. It just seems useless because at the end of the day... the result will be the same.
