Sorry if posted.
The Voice of Wrestling returned live last night from 7-8 EST with hosts, Chris Cash and Nick Paglino. Chris Masters – who was just released this past Friday from the WWE – joined Chris and Nick to discuss his recent departure, his future and much more. Other topics include SummerSlam this weekend, TNA’s Hard Justice pay per view, Gail Kim quitting and much more.
On going to TNA: “Well, it’s funny because I sat in my car about two weeks ago and really thinking to myself, ‘they need babyfaces now and if they’re not going to do something with me or invest in me right now, they’re never gonna do it. So I was already thinking to myself, maybe I need to start reaching out and seeing what else is out there – let’s just be frank. But I didn’t do it. And it’s funny because then you fast forward to weeks later and then this happened. Obviously, I’m taking bookings, but yeah, I’ve reached out to some people over at TNA and we’ll just see what happens with that. There’s of course the 90 day thing with WWE, but I’m not really going to rule out anything this time around”.
Thoughts?

I dont see Masters getting signed. The last time he was released, there seemed to be no interest.

Considering the number of recent signings and an already crowded roster, I don't see this happening. It would also be in their best interest to stick to signing guys mainstream audiences haven't heard of to avoid being seen as a company full of ex-WWE wrestlers. I'm not really a fan of Gunner or Crimson, but I'd rather see what they're capable of when given enough time instead wasting television time on someone who could be seen as a WWE throwaway.

Just think of the classics he could have on Xplosion with Gunner, Eric Young, and Rob Terry.

I'd take him over Gunner or Crimson any day of the week.

I'd take him over Gunner or Crimson any day of the week. Don't know about that Crimson is definitely making an iMPACT

I'd take him over Gunner or Crimson any day of the week. This 100%. Masters comes off to me as a genuinely cool dude in real life, where as these two come off as douches.

It's a shame, I've always like Masters, and he constantly gets the short end of the stick. I'm not normally a TNA watcher, but I would definitely keep up with what he's doing.

I don't know if he will get signed but I wish him luck.
I didn't meet him but my aunt did [for me at a King's game] and she said he was really nice.
He's a solid wrestler who is probably underrated.

I felt when Masters was feuding with Michaels he could have been pushed to a championship level but Vince didnt wanna do it. Masters is most def. a Impact Player get rid of the dead weight and pick him up.

I'd like him to make his way over as a replacement for Crimson. I can't stand that guy.

Their is no reason to sign him in my opinion. They're gonna end up like WCW if they keep signing people. 160 people on the roster with 10-15 actually appearing on the show.
