i hope u guys all realize that all of these people will be legends EVENTUALLY, because they all have to be signed to even be in the poll LOL Yeah except for you have no idea if that is true or not. The line could fizzle out after a year if it has weak sales. Just because Mattel signs them to a deal it doesn't mean they are guaranteed to make a figure of that person. I hope they make everyone eventually, but we have no idea if that will happen or not just based on the fact we have no guarantees with this Legends line. |

the poll is completely pointless since (as has been pointed out many times) you can vote unlimited times for as few or as many choices as you like
the results will simply showcase the views of the people who have sat there voting a million times a day and will likely have little relation to the true picture of who is most wanted by the collectors

Their slogan is "The customers vote with their wallets". If this first year does not sell to their ridiculously high numbers, then it's going to be blamed on us, and the line will be ended. That's a fact. Yup. And if a bunch of bland, colourless, pre-WWF expansion wrestlers are chosen by the same twelve people spamming the vote system... Sales aren't going to be great. But I guess those twelve people are happy with the Mattycollector Legends line ending quickly as long as they get a few figures they like first. |

With proto's popping up on ebay I'm sure Tully , Arn and Magnum are in, regardless of "voting". where was there a Tully proto? |

I love the ones that automatically assume because their top 5 isnt getting made that the line is dead. Seriously, do research outside of Wfigs. If it wasnt against the TOS I could post at least 3 other sites that are talking about this and the names Tully Blanchard and Magnum TA are extremely common. Just stop being butt hurt and buy the figures. Even if you resale them you're helping keep the line alive long enough to get the crappy attitude era stuff.

Yeah I don't see this ever happening again if Arn and Tully actually get voted through to be produced, with all due respect to those guys. I'm pretty surprised by everyone listed that high with the exception of Ms. Elizabeth.exactly my thoughts  |

I really really hope they dont make Magnum T.A, Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson right off the bat, they are barely going too see with anyone. I mean yeah theres gonna be that 1000 ppl who buy theres then the rest are gonna rot away in a warehouse which will suck! I think they got a better chance at making DDP, Doink, Mrs Elizabeth, King Kong Bundy, Faarooq, Savio, Tito any of those would be alot better than the top 3 i keep hearing about ugh! This will be a Mattel disaster if those 3 old ass guys get made. There gonna do as well as Terry Funks Legend figure did lol

Have they updated the poll results lately? I haven't been on here much and wanted to see if they'd changed from the initial update.
With the exception of Doink and maybe Demolition Crush who look eye-catching enough that they could have gone in the Flashback series, all of these guys are fairly generic in terms of looks so the "who will sell, who won't sell" argument seems kinda pointless. Magnum and DDP [with vest and jeans attire] really don't look that much different and a Barry Windham in black vest, chaps and cowboy hat would stand out more than Savio Vega.
Hopefully Mattel doesn't have unrealistic expectations for the figures and they'll keep selling through to ensure we get more Legends. But again, I'm one of those who don't care who makes the cut as I'd buy all of them.
