You guys are looking at a handful of single pieces on ebay. You are making a whole lot of noise about nothing. I wouldn't be surprised if the original poster or someone ib this thread posted the auction and is trying to get attention for it. There are only one or two auctions for Punk. If we put 5 of each figure on eBay right now, the price would drop in the blink of an eye. Does it really surprise anyone after the Punk t-shirt insanity there might be 2-3 people crazy enough to bid up a figure like that. And unlike the t-shirt, the figure can be easily purchased for less from many places. Hey I went and sold over 15 of the same shirt from WWEShop on ebay for $75 a piece. People will buy ANYTHING.

Brian, I'll take the Christian from you. Done deal. shoot me an email and I'll get him out. You can hold him until we meet up. You're still planning on having another NJ/NY get together right? If not I'm sure I'll be down visiting my sister's in the next few weeks where we can try and meet up like the old days. Man it was so much easier when I was still down in Parsippany. RSC losing money?!?! Please ing explain! Well, MattelShop had E10 while RSC was still in backorder. So I gave Mattel my money instead of RSC. I bet others did too. Hi Brian, I didn't know that was you until I saw an earlier post to you from PJ. Thank you for the offer but right now I'm holding off on E11. There's too much stuff out, I feel like I'm bleeding money and I plan on losing more blood. Right now my current obsession is finding Batman Legacy 2 figures at K-mart and I want to see the Thundercats at retail before jumping into that line. So far I have Classic Lion-O and he is too cool. I can't find Legacy Series 2 for the life of me. I really only need to find Batman, because I have a set on order with spamS. I also just ordered a set of the 2-Packs series 2 from them. But I usually get two of Batman and the KMart figure comes with the Bat-Mite. So I figured I'd get one Batman from kMart w/ Bat-Mite and then my second in the set from spamS. But in the last few days I've hit the K-Marts in Parsippany NJ, Westwood NJ, Paramus NJ, White Plains NY, and 3 stores up by Fishkill NY and have come empty handed. I've also not seen any Thundercats since the 3 4" figures I found at the White Plains store last Saturday. (I do have the Classics on order with spamS)

If we put 5 of each figure on eBay right now, the price would drop in the blink of an eye. Punk is so hot right now that I bet he would still sell for the $60 price range. If u put the other E11 figs up yea I agree they would drop but not drastically. Isn't it kind of like supply & demand. Currently there is too much demand for RSC's supply. I can't stress enough I don't know what is involved in their ordering process. I don't want RSC to get stuck with unsellable figures. Didn't they recently have to blow out basics at $5, no one was complaining about RSC prices then. Yes, PJ, I've been haunting the three area Kmarts for a Bat-mite figure. What an unbelievable hobby we have.

The sad part is I really don't care about Bat-Mite. (If I find him great, but he's not the reason I want the Batman) I was never a fan of Bat-Mite so if they started showing up at the other retailers without bat-Mite I'd check there as well, because I do want that Batman already for my classic Robin figures...Bat-Mite will just be a bonus that I'll display with Gleek, but he's certainly not a must have figure for me.

You have Gleek? Ok, I better stop, I'm getting off topic.

I'd like to think RSC was started by a fan with the mindset to get figures for themselves & people alike around the same time as retailers but the principle being skipping the bull (aka the middle man) like matadors. This is a disgrace! Scalpers IMO have no business buying from RSC as if you buy a complete series it comes out to the average retail price. (excluding shipping of course) Whatever seller is pulling this card is GREEDY! you should be banned.

Some people might buy anything, but it always amazes me what some people will DO for money.

Can someone tell me about the shirt situation? I missed it.
The Batman figure will appear at other retailers without Bat-Mite or am I wrong?

a member here had asked me to list one on ebay for him so i did..that was his offer price not mine. im sure he had seen the one already on ebay with bids up to $70 bucks and didnt want to wait and see if it went any higher some people have disposable incomes so price does not matter to them. if they want something they get it! Understandable, thanks for the explanation. This makes sense, can't argue here.

My ebay user name is just like my one on here slinky462 I wasnt trying to create a big buzz, just simply like hearing thoughts on topics we havent really discussed, I thought RSC scalping was a neat topic. I ordered my complete set right when they went up so im not worried, I already have my set.

That's not really scalping at all. We all had an equal opportunity to pre-order the figures. Clearly some chose not to and now they've realized they made a mistake.

A fool and his money are soon parted.
Some people are impatient for their figures. I want that Punk figure, too, but for a retail price in a retail store. I can wait.

I find it funny that many of the people on this site constantly b1tch about RSC prices, but do the same if not worse. With RSC it's their business and they are getting their figures from Mattel/Jakks and not the local stores aisles. They are also paying extra to have their first shipment overnighted from Mattel/Jakks to them so it's got to cost high to cover the overnight costs. (Not to mention their operation costs) Which is fine. They also have to charge more for the popular figures because there's usually 3 or 4 peg-warmers in each set that in two months they'll be charging well under retail price for. (But everyone thinks they are great then when RSC is losing money) Yet 60-70% of these same members complaining about that come here saying they found something and if you want it "make them an offer" or they jack up the price because of their "time and gas". I'm sorry but weren't you already in the aisle looking at the wrestling figures for yourself? Where's the time and gas you lost being there? Sure there are members here who just do cost and shipping yet they are few and far between. And those that know me and have dealt with me know that's what I do as well. Steel is great for doing that...Hell, he's formed 2 collector friendly sites over the years just for that reason. Back in 2004 I was supposed to go with him to cover the NYC Toy Fair with him, but that Monday morning my daughter was sick so I called him and told him I couldn't make it...but you know what? The next time I talked to him he said that he and the other person that went with him had picked me up something. And the next time I saw him he handed me the NYC 2004 Jakks 1/100 Warrior. They could have very easily kept that for themselves and sold it on ebay, but instead they chose to give it to me even though I didn't make it to the event. It's just a shame that more people want to make a buck rather than help out their fellow collectors. You have Gleek? Ok, I better stop, I'm getting off topic. lol. Yes I do. He's displayed yet my Wonder Twins are still in the package. I think the package is too cool to open. lol I need just the Batman as well, PJ. I'll buy 2 if I see them and please do the same. We'll take care of each other. Will do. And Thanks. MrHoss - I'll keep my eyes open for you too.

Good for those people that are smart enough to make some extra cash. I don't consider it scalping. I have a few e11 punks, but I won't be parting with them tho. I gave my buddy one, cause he ordered his on back order and will just give me his when it arrives late sept.

I already checked the KMart in my town...no luck. The toy department is in transition. It's getting cleaned up for the holiday toys. I'll probably take a ride to another Kmart later.
