You guys understand that all the ones in the list of 17 will be made right? The voting was to see which ones people wanted on Legends carding. Not entirely true because of this comment right here - "A quick note on the voting. There was a large gap between the top 6 and the rest of the field. Magnum TA was edged out in sixth place. If this program is successful in 2012 and we sell enough of these figures to make it worth doing again in 2013 we will offer Magnum as an option in the voting again. ( some choices on the list will be retained, others dropped due to low vote totals) In the past with figures on Mattycollectors it almost seemed like whevever Toy Guru would say a comment like that it didn't look good for the future of the line in question. Although I think I read they are bringing back the JLU on Matty. Sure they are all signed and we've seen protos of some like Arn & Magnum, but if the sales aren't there then they won't continue the Legends line in 2013. Sure some could be put in flashback's but what NWA/WCW PPV does the WWE still host that would make sense for Magnum? Sure the rest could work as Flashbacks if Mattel still felt like they could sell (but that might change too if the Legends don't do well as online exclusives) But where would Magnum fit that still makes sense at least the rest have all been on WWF/WWE programming?

Probably just Diamond Dallas Page. Not a big really old school fan.

I'll definitely get the Rockers and Andre if I can. Of the poll winners, definitely Miss Elizabeth. Most likely DDP. Possibly Bundy. Definitely passing on the Brainbusters.

ALL OF THEM. Support the line. Keep it going, people. I don't get why some people keep saying this. Why would I waste my money on wrestlers that I never cared for? If all my choices had been picked than yes I would buy them all. However I never liked Arn, Tully or Bundy so there's no way I'm buying them. Then, when the line ends, blame yourself.

I'm not much of a legends collector, but I might get DDP and Liz depending on how they turn out.

You guys understand that all the ones in the list of 17 will be made right? The voting was to see which ones people wanted on Legends carding. They wouldn't even be allowed to have people as an option in a poll if they weren't signed to a deal with Mattel. The others will most likely be Flashback figures as a part of future Elite lineups. Why would they put characters with less votes in as Flashbacks knowing there is less demand for those characters? From what I can tell the Flashbacks line is reserved for Legends that will sell the best at mass retail (ie Diesel, Booker T, HBK, Austin, Kane, Taker, etc.) and guys like Magnum, Tully and Arn, who I think are specific for the older collector market and not mass retail, work perfectly as online exclusives. If they made Andre an online exclusive, I am willing to bet there are not very many throwback stars outside of like Hogan and Flair they are going to chance putting into the Flashback line. I thought Andre and DDP both seemed like no-brainer Flashbacks but obviously I was wrong.

They are running it into the ground, then blaming poor sales. Andre The Giant would be one of the Biggest Mass Retail sellers! As would a Rockers 2 pack over most others. Cannot understand what they are thinking sometimes.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Doink as a Flashback figure at all. DDP and Andre would both fit easily in the Flashbacks line but I guess they're included in the Matty Legends to help give the line some drawing power, Andre especially -- Mattel (should) know better than to try and launch this new system with Tully Blanchard as the lead figure. Also, they're aware that people would be spamming the votes, and even aside from that, they should know by now that what's popular amongst forum users doesn't always translate to actual demand at retail. So I think some of the guys who didn't win the vote will still end up in Flashbacks -- but I don't think Tully Blanchard ever would have a Mattel figure released if he didn't win this vote.

They should really do Arn & Tully as a 2-pack Brain Busters, then put Magnun TA and whoever was #7 in the winners! Hate when the do tag teams in singles lines. Warriors,Demo,Busters,Von Erichs. Those would be AWESOME Tag Team sets, and then more room for single legends in Legends lines!
Mattel Really needs to hire me before this line sinks! Hell, if you want, I'll give input for free just to get this line rockin again. I have some ideas Mattel, hit me up, it couldnt hurt.

Then, when the line ends, blame yourself. You can't be serious. I would be to blame because I didn't buy figures I don't want? lol I'm sorry I'm not one of those collectors that has to buy everything. I spend my money wisely and just buy the ones I enjoyed growing up.

Shango was one of those figs that went quick at retail and regularly sells for much more on ebay than its original price.

All but bundy, he is really not that important in wrestling history compared to countless others. I don't get the mystique ps I'm 28 and grew up watching him

Theoretically, I'd get the three I voted for - DDP and The Brain Busters. However, Mr. Perfect was the only Mattel Legend I ever wanted, and I got him, so I'm good.
If I can get the Masked SES Punk next month for my birthday, that's the only other Mattel figure I'd consider.
