Where did those yellow boots come from. I thought the only fig with yellow boots was macho?

Apocalypse, you should try using a Jim Duggan body for Valentine, since he was always on the hefty/in shape side... I did that for my Hammer fix up, still need to paint and post pics... Looks good with the yellow boots only if you add a shin guard to him, lol. QUAGMIREI Used Axe.. I think its the same body as Duggan... Or at least close. im not sure what the heartbreaker is lol And the Head is from the classic jakks series , The Boots are Texas Tornados Upper Boot ( all yellow , hidden under the tassels ) and Macho Mans Lower boot with laces sanded off Thanks for all the stories and opinions on the hammer, i dont know much about greg valentine, all i know is he never said much, bored the hell out of me when i was a kid, and i could never understand the flashy robe with hearts on it when his nickname was 'the hammer' .... ahhh .... actually maybe now i know why they called him the hammer lol |

I did almost the exact same Fix-Up using a Hacksaw body and Rick Rude boots...and I can say that the head doesn't look anywhere near that big in person.
Also Greg does have a larger head in real life...

I have an extra Hacksaw and an extra Valentine with black hair (from the set with Honky & Jimmy).
I might have to break out the paints.

Actually It Is , lol, I used an elite finlay head with elite 8? undertaker hair (modified)    It should be finished next week or the week after, just waiting on some ralphs gear, which will make it perfect |

y'know aussiefan, that torso doesn't make the head look that big afterall. But I'm confused, doesn't apoc use the same hacksaw torso? I'm very interested now because I wanted to trade my Duggan away, but if I can turn him into a more deserving Legend like Valentine, it might be worthwhile for me to buy this Jakks figure to make it.

what's the skin tone matching like? It looks just slightly off? Skin tone matches really well in person...camera flash always seems to show differently. Think it has to do with the different plastics used by Jakks & Mattel |

Ya I used axe's body. Same deal, my pictures never did the figure justice, mine looks the same as aussies just my pictures make the head lom
ok bigger.
Skin tone matches very well, u can see in my picture of valentine with the other guys on my display shelf, how the head isn't that big and the skin tone matches really well.
I got some other jakks heads on mattel bodys to show off soon, altho some I'm scared may be big. I'd really love to make a zeus but noone can vouch for who has skin tone that matches zeus, I would think maybe shad? But I would like to know for sure before buying them

the heartbreaker was the shinguard he wore and would turn around to put on the figure four. Ronnie garvin had his own shin guard called the hammer jammer to make the hammer's guard useless.

Ahhh cool, thanks for letting me know, I think I might make that now. Those big black kneepads gotta be good for something, or perhaps whatever remaining pieces of sleeve I have left from finlays jacket.

HeartBreaker Was Easy... After hearing the story about how he used it , how could i resist Also , The Heads not really as bad.... its big compared to slaughters tiny head but as big as bam bams pumpkin head, but greg always had a big head/face     Nice...loving the shinguard...is that a Roadwarrior Gauntlet? |
