Alright, so I figured I'd share this particular experience that I just had on an ESPN Standard League that I just joined. It was just pure ridiculousness that I will get to after I post the team I personally got from this league, and where I got the players.
QB: Peyton Manning (4th Round, 36th Pick)
RB: Jamaal Charles (1st Round, 5th Pick)
RB: Maurice Jones-Drew (2nd Round, 16th Pick)
RB/WR: Knowshon Moreno (Sixth Round, 56th Pick)
WR: Mike Wallace (3rd Round, 25th Pick)
WR: Santonio Holmes (Fifth Round, 45th Pick)
TE: Dustin Keller (Fourteenth Round, 136th Pick)
DEF/ST: Bears (Twelfth Round, 116th Pick)
K: Rob Bironas (Sixteenth Round, 156th Pick)
BE: Brandon Lloyd (Seventh Round, 65th Pick)
BE: Ryan Matthews (Eighth Round, 76th Pick)
BE: Brandon Marshall (Ninth Round, 85th Pick)
BE: Joseph Addai (Tenth Round, 96th Pick)
BE: Mike Thomas (Eleventh Round, 105th Pick)
BE: Donovan McNabb (Thirteenth Round, 125th Pick)
BE: Danny Amendola (Fifteenth Round, 145th Pick)
Well, I'm really happy with this team because I got 2 of the (arguably) top 5 running backs in a snake draft. There was a reason for this however, as I had to be drafting with some of the strangest fantasy football players ever. Here are a few of the gems from the draft.
Round 1, Pick 2: Roddy White
Round 2, Pick 19: Matt Ryan
Round 3, Pick 22: Mark Ingram
Round 6, Pick 60: Reggie Bush
Round 7, Pick 64: Greg Olsen
Round 8, Pick 71: CJ Spiller
Round 8, Pick 79: Lions Def/ST (not to mention 6 def/st going in rounds 6-8)
First Kicker off the board in Round 11.
Just a lot of unneeded reaching really. There are a few more minor cases, but the depth that the other drafters allowed me to get let me take a few risks (Matthews, Marshall). Have you guys ever had some more ridiculous people drafting like this?
