Hawk, Animal, Rhodes, Steamboat all at the same time. Rhodes was the first one hanging on the peg that I saw in person.

This was RIGHT when Legends 1 were hitting retail, and I hadn't seen them anywhere, anyway, on Vacation my brother, nephew and I were driving between my sis' house in Minneapolis and my Grandma and Grandpa in Grand Forks, we pulled off on some remote offramp with a Walmart, Target, and K-Mart to stretch our legs and eat. Anyway, we hit K-mart and on one of the shelves is two of everyone from Series one except for the Road Warriors, whom there were only one of each. So I picked up Austin, Steamboat, and the Road Warriors. My first Mattels, and a great 4 Mattels to start off on.

my 1st "kinda" mattel legend figure was the Entrance Greats Shawn Michaels!! a very under-rated figure of HBK in his legendary Wrestlemania 12 gear!... i think him, and Ted Dibiase and Roddy Piper and Jericho entrance greats are WAYY AWESOME BROTHER!! i personally enjoy displaying basics better..
but offcial legends line was Ricky Steamboat series 1.. although i like his defining moments figure better now, cause with out the entrance gear, he reminds me of my Favorite Ricky STeamboat memories in mid 90's WCW battling rude & austin and paul e's evil dangerous alliance!!

Mine was Defining Moments Randy Savage, along with Tag Team Roddy Piper and Bob Orton, followed on the same hunt by Jake Roberts, Ric Rude and Terry Funk from Series 2.

Ricky Steamboat. I got him to do a head swap onto a Jakks body...Then I started realizing how much better the Mattel figures were.....Then I just swapped over to the better company The Steamboat head switch got me into Mattel as well. I still decapitate the legends to Jakks them up, but the basic figures have pretty much the same articulation and are close enough in size to not stand out on display.

My first Legends pick up was Series 3 Bulldog, Perfect, Vader, The Rock, and Duggan all from a Toys R Us Express. Great figures, and now I have almost all of the legends line.
