For the first tournament of it's kind, WCWA holds nothing back. The inaugural Lethal Lottery tournament features potential rivals paired up as tag team partners. Two tag teams and one stable of three enter, the chances of them teaming on this night very low. And perhaps most importantly, two champions enter the tournament.
Will the Age of the Fall have strength in numbers? With three entrants into the tournament, they have the most likely odds of being paired together. Ruckus of the BLK Out however has the worst odds, at 0, because due to injuries sustained at Sweet Dreams, Sabian was forced to pull out. His replacement is the only woman in the fray, LuFisto.
All sixteen participants will be paired off into teams at random, then into matches at random. From there, it's a single elimination tag team tournament and all three rounds of this tournament will take place on this edition of Synthetic. The team that walks out victorious will have three wins as a tag team in a row, the first team that will ever have acquired the three points needed to challenge for the WCWA World Tag Team titles in one night. Additionally, the winning team will compete against each other on the next Synthetic, for an ultimate prize, a shot at the WCWA World Heavyweight title at a later date.
This is a high risk, high reward tournament. Who will come out the ultimate victor when all is said and done?
WCWA World Heavyweight Title Match
Claudio Castagnoli (c)
vs.
Lucky
I guess the guy is lucky after all.. Lucky that he survived Eddie Kingston and lucky that the Kings of Wrestling are in fact men of their words. As promised for taking Sara Del Ray's spot and receiving one hell of an ass kicking at the hands of Eddie Kingston, Lucky is receiving a WCWA World Heavyweight title shot. His luck could turn around. It will take luck though to dethrone the undefeated and undisputed king of WCWA, the WCWA World Heavyweight champion Claudio Castagnoli. Two students of Chris Hero do battle with the biggest prize in WCWA at stake.
One on One Match
Eddie Kingston
vs.
Orange Cassidy
Now, sitting at home, if you've seen Eddie Kingston nearly kill Lucky for being associated with Chris Hero.. Would you jump to sign your name on the dotted line with Kingston? Kingston laid out an open challenge across the globe to any of Chris Hero's students and Orange Cassidy was the first to sign his name on the dotted line. Along with Leslie Butterscotch, Cassidy has been in WCWA before as a member of the "Flavors of the Month", achieving no success. This opportunity against Eddie Kingston is just that, an opportunity. He could prove himself to WCWA management and earn himself a roster spot again.. Or he could die. Probably the latter.
One on One Match
Chris Hero
vs.
Michael Facade
Michael Facade ASKED for this match. After what has happened to Sabian at the hands of Chris Hero and Chuck Taylor, and the torment of Eddie Kingston, I guess Michael Facade has come up in his mind that beating one half of the WCWA World Tag Team champions, Chris Hero, is a great way to get his name out there and establish himself as a formidable contender. Unfortunately for him, beating Chris Hero is something easier said than done. Facade has a long row to hoe if he plans to beat "Your Hero" on this edition of Revolution.
One on One Match
Non-Title
Tommy End
vs.
Jack Evans
It's a special showcase match. The WCWA International champion Tommy End does battle with the recently lost WCWA World Heavyweight champion Jack Evans in what has to be called a WCWA dream match, a super fight of sorts. It's a styles clash between the hard striking End and the high flying Jack Evans. This will be one to remember for sure and should be a great sporting contest.
