Any fans here?
I recently got into the band and I am annoyed it took me this long, they are amazing. From the hardcore screaming of the first albums to the punk anthems of the later ones.
Just an awesome band with a library of awesome songs.
So yea, if you are a fan, or even if your not, whats your favourite song?
Have been in love with this song for the last few days, just a great song.

At the risk of sounding like a purist, I love their old stuff. Hate their new stuff.

Really fun live band; they had Ceremony open for them last time I saw them, best way to troll a crowd ever.

Love AFI, everything from old to new. Also, love Blaqk Audio (electronic side project of Davey and Jade's), and Son of Sam (Samhain minus Danzig, plus Davey)

I've heard Miss Murder, Girls Not Grey, Miseria Cantare, & the song you posted. I've been meaning to dig deeper into this band's discography for awhile now because they sound awesome.

They're one of those rare bands that I loved as a 14 year old, and can still happily listen to. A lot of it is probably nostalgia, but I still find all the songs on the All Hallow's EP really good. Particularly 'Boy Who Destroyed the World' which I discovered via Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 ( I feel old). Sing the Sorrows a pretty solid album too. I saw one of their newer singles on youtube, the video had a dapper looking Davey Havok and his pals walking into some mansion party or something. Yeah, the song was terrible and I had to close it. So I guess you could say I'm a fan of 'old school' AFI.

I pretty much like their whole library, for different reasons. I think your description is a little backwards though - I feel like the older songs were more punk anthems, and the newer stuff nets more screaming.
Favorite songs?

At the risk of sounding like a purist, I love their old stuff. Hate their new stuff. I totally get what you mean. While I still do enjoy their current/newer music, my favorite album of theirs (even though it's not technically a full album) will always be the All Hallow's EP. Particularly 'Boy Who Destroyed the World' which I discovered via Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 ( I feel old). No kidding. Crazy to think I was only 11 when that game came out. Hell, that's exactly where I discovered these guys, with that song being in. The first handful of those games had the best soundtracks.

I like December Underground and Crash Love, but hate their old stuff. Not a fan of screaming music, I like their more upbeat melodic stuff. I saw them at Lollapalooza last year pretty close and they were good.

Love "Sing the Sorrow" and somewhat "December Underground." Didn't care for anything before or after though.

They are kinda hit and miss with me. Sing The Sorrow is their favorite album of mine as I like nearly every song, but their other albums have a few songs I like but that's it.

At the risk of sounding like a purist, I love their old stuff. Hate their new stuff. Same. I use to worship them, but the last album I actually bought was, "Sing the Sorrow". What I've heard of, "Decemberunderground" was ok, but not good enough to make me buy it. A few songs are on Rock Band from the album after that and they sounded awful to me. I don't hate them or anything now, but I'll keep the happy memories with the old stuff.

I've loved them since I first heard them in about '05, but unlike most most people who tend to only like their old or new stuff, I love all of it. Also a big fan of Blaqk Audio (for those who don't know, Davey and Jade's side project).
