Got the bundle at Walmart. I'm debating re-playing Arkham Asylum first, or just jump right into Arkham City.
Decisions... decisions....

Can't believe I have to wait until next Friday still. My brother will be getting it this Friday as he has pre-ordered it online and they will be sending his copy soon. Still, really can't wait until I can play this game, going to replay Arkham Asylum for sure first.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah, the crapton of DLC slips that fell out of the CE drawer when I popped it open a little too hard is hilarious. You'll know where to find me for the next few hours.

Love the game so far. got the collector's edition, and the statue with it is really cool. Currently on the hunt for Mr. Freeze. So far all the villians are great, and Tara Strong actually does a good job at doing the voice for Harley in the game.

The PC version I bought won't be out for another month. Now I have to avoid this thread and this board until it drops and I can play it.

Godamn, the Catwoman bundle is taking forever to download. Oh well, I'm sure it will be well worth the wait.

I've got the game installed, and I've got the Catwoman DLC downloading right now. Hefty file, at 252.34 MB but it's going smoothly. I've already downloaded the Batman Animated Skin and the Joker Carnival Maps. I got the Batman Beyond skin last night.
So I'm missing the Robin Pack, Nightwing Pack, The Dark Knight Returns (collectors edition only right now so I have to wait), Earth One Batman, 70s Batman, and Sinestro Corps.
God damn that's a lot of DLC. I'm probably only going to go for the Nightwing and Robin DLC and perhaps the 70s Batman Skin. It depends how satisfied I am with the Batman Beyond and Animated skins...

I've been playing this game for the last 4 hours and I watched some of a walkthrough online. It's awesome how different my gaming experience and path has been compared to that.

Liking it a lot so far. I like how wide open it feels instead of just going hallway to hallway like the last one.

Alright, so I have a few questions that hopefully someone here can I help me out with: I never played Arkham Asylum, but this game looks so ing good. Do you think I should play AA before I play Arkham City, or is it not really necessary? Also, where is the best place to buy AC? (Or are all those offers gone now that the game is out and I didn't pre-order it?) And finally, are there any differences between the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions? Which is better to get it for? Thanks to anyone that can help me out

It's not completely necessary to play Arkham Asylum, although there are several callbacks to the first game.
HOWEVER... I personally would recommend playing Arkham Asylum because it is a damn good game in it's own right.
As for where to get it, Wal-Mart would be the best because you get the Game of the Year edition of Arkham Asylum as a bonus when you buy Arkham City. Two full games for the price of one.

Love the game so far, certainly a lot harder than Asylum. I beat the original in a week a half when I first bought it, I see Arkham City taking me even longer.

I beat it earlier on hard (was wondering why that was so easy... turns out new game plus is the true hard mode). The ending was surprising and ballsy. The graphics were a lot more natural this time around, same with the voice acting.
I randomly ran into Azrael earlier. He was just standing on top of the Ferris Wheel watching me, haha.
