I do see Daniel Bryan turning heel at some point but that gave no indication of it. BTW this reminds me of TNA's reaction idea, except that like usual WWE does it 1000 times better.

Heel turn or not, he worked a match at a house show I was at in Belfast vs Sheamus. Immediately picking up that Sheamus was receiving a face reaction, Bryan slotted into the role of heel and Sheamus was the face. I'll tell ya something, I've never seen the man ooze as much charisma in any match on TV in WWE than he did in that one.
People were behind Sheamus (heel at the time) because they liked him with the Irish connections - not because they disliked Bryan. But by the end of that match, everyone was booing their heart out for DB.
