Anyone here does TTM(through the mail) to get autographs? I've tried sending to Edge, Christian, and Alex Riley, but have never been successful... That would be great to get back. Anyone here does TTM(through the mail) to get autographs? nope since I strongly prefer to get autographs in person Same here Anyone here does TTM(through the mail) to get autographs? No. I never knew people could try that. So what one would send say John Morrison or Gail Kim some cards for them to sign and send back? I highly doubt they would do that so it seems like a waste of a card/money/time. If I was going to send a bunch of cards out I would write asking if it is okay to send them out to them to get signed. I asked this questions because I wrote to Prince Devitt/Finn Bálor and he wrote back to me yesterday and said I could send my 4 NJPW cards of him to get signed.

Some wrestlers are very good at signing through the mail.
Years ago, it was very easy to obtain autographs, a lot of legends signed freely. Now it seems not as many sign and some charge a fee. Years ago, a number of wrestlers would send their own promo photos.
You need to check out fanmail.biz (feedback section or wrestling collector's section on autograph discussion). It's a free site. You can check out startiger.com but it's a paid membership.
WWE HQ address generally leads to no response, some people are getting the newcomers via Full Sail University.

Wow that is super cool of him to do that. I know that most former wrestlers charge like $10-20 for certain stuff signed through the mail but Idk about current people. Maybe getting future main eventers at Full Sail would be a good idea. I'll have to check the two sites listed.

I bought these two 2010 Platinum X Fractor cards for $5.48 shipped: I would have bought the Kofi and Alicia Fox cards just like this for $2 more but then he would have charged me $2 more for shipping... That is some BS imo because it doesn't cost $5.50 to ship 4 cards... At most it would cost $3 TOTAL because they could all fit in one bubble mailer and the only other thing he needs to provide is the little clear sleeve for each card and most likely the plastic case. How much does that sh*t cost when you break it down? I mean people can only buy them in bulk because they don't come in 5 packs.. I just really find it bullsh*t when sellers on eBay try to make money off of shipping...........

I attended the Eugene signing in Woodbridge, Ontario today. Not sure if anyone remembers, but at the Woodbridge Heroes Fest in August, my post said that they were disorganized. Once again, it seemed like no one knew what was happening. When we walked in, there was no line at all and Eugene was all the way in the back of the store. The lady in the front of the store asked if we needed any help, to which I said that we were here for the signing. She told me I needed to purchase my tickets at the cash register, and I followed her so I could buy them. I explained that I want two autographs and a picture. She tells me that each item is $25. What?! $25 for a guy like Eugene? Yeah right! I showed her the ad on my phone and it said Autographs and Photos are $15 each, and a combo (photo-op and autograph) would be $25. She then asked the manager(?) to confirm prices and yes the ad I had was correct. I thought this little mishap was finished with, but I was completely wrong. A combo is an autograph and photo-op, according to the ad. Is there anything hard to understand about that? Apparently, yes. I had to explain a million times that I have my own item to get signed and wanted a photo-op. That is a combo and yet, they wouldn't let me do it. They explained that I had to buy their own picture to get signed for $25, and the photo-op would come with it. Basically, they would not let me apply the combo deal if I had my own item, which is ridiculous. There is no mention on the ad/poster that I have to buy their own picture. Frustrated, I gave in and just paid the $30 for two autographs and no photo-op. When I explained that I also wanted a photo-op, they kept on saying that I have to buy their picture for $25. It was literally like talking to a wall. They give me my two tickets and I go to the back of the store and meet Eugene. While the staff at the signing sucked, Eugene did not. He was pretty cool and talkative. Before he signed my stuff, he posed for a picture with me(the staff being difficult to deal with ended up saving me $10). The handler didn't even check/collect my tickets until after he signed my stuff. Anyways, I ask him to sign using my red marker, to which he responded "of course". As he signed, he mentioned "oooh! This is a really nice red!". I then open up my encyclopedia, and he signed that too. He then looked at the photo of Eve on the next page. He pointed at it, then pointed at me, then winked lol. He asked if it was still cold outside and I told him "yes, and it's still snowing!". He responded, "Oh really?! I wonder why!".. and I joke, it's because you're here!". Eugene continued: "Yeah.. I probably brought it with me! You know, I live in Florida, and just yesterday it was 85 degrees and I was in my pool!" We laugh and I thank him, and he thanks me then my dad and I leave. My autographs:

Nice framed WM 30 mat relic collection there I just wish the three on the right were not vertical but I guess there was no room left. While I was certainly no fan of him, those are two nice Eugene autos. It sucks that the shop still didn't have their sh*t together though.. Minor note for me but I went to Target today and they had three blaster boxes (1 current WM set and 2 Chrome sets) and a TON of single packs in the big containers.. I checked them all, rather fast though because I didn't want anyone thinking I was stealing or something, and I didn't find any hot packs. So I would guess that someone already picked through it because it was messy when I got there.. Oh well, I will stick to getting stuff on eBay then. Speaking of that I got my two most recent card purchases from eBay in the mail today. They are the Morrison and Ziggler Xfractor cards from the 2010 Platinum series. That set was one of my favorites because it really brought me back into collecting wrestling cards. Before that set I last remember seriously collecting in 2005/2006 so it was a while when I didn't.

Cool Eugene autos. In Maryland, we had a few local stores like that, that have hosted wrestling signings. Your story is typical of those and they don't last too long. It almost seems like, and there are probably some places that do this, the employees were purposely trying to get you to spend more. If you had caught Eugene after the signing, he'd probably have signed for free. Most wrestlers don't care if they sign for free or not, they just care that they get paid.
