Havoc glad you had an awesome time. Wish we met. I think if the person ask they got it personalized. I wish I asked. I froze when it was my time with Alexa. Also the staff was hit and miss. Wanna say something but don’t wanna ruin it in years to come. I was in such a hurry that I didn't stick around. I should have mingled. I pretty much froze with eveyrthing i wanted to talk to her about lol. All I could muster out was "could you please make it out to me" and that becky story which prompted her to put that message on one of my title belts.

Figured I'd ask here. ROH is coming into ft. Lauderdale. Not sure i want to go to the event itself, but would love to meet the Addiction and MCMG who are both allegedly on the card. The Elite will be there as well, but they annoy me and I doubt I'd want to meet what I deem the equivalent of a Youtube Celebrity. Anyways. Point is, does ROH do meet and greets before the events? Or after? Before the event, You have to buy a ticket to get in and when you get into the building you have to go to a table beside the merch sand and buy autograph tickets for whoever you want to meet.

havoc7179Amazing stuff man! Alexa seems nice. Cass sounds like a jerk. I can never understand why handlers at these signings want to restrict personalizations? Considering how much you are spending they should gladly personalize or write an inscription. Also the autos look great with the paint pen.

Price was great to for what you got. Undertaker is at a con by me in December and he’s charging 325. That’s way too much in my mind

SOLD! Gimme your addy haha Its sad the only cards I wanted were Legends & Alexa Bliss...I got 4-5 Legends and 0 Bliss cards...worthless damn box Agreed, I was bummed out by Heritage AND TNF this year. I bought a box of Heritage because I love the wood grain border and over half the box was the blue Summerslam cards. Urgh. Same thing happened with a rack pack of TNF. I bought it for the wrestler cards and literally half the pack was like finishing moves or something. Disappointing. As for your question, I can't really say. It looks like an /25 Brock and Braun both went individually for 8 and change and a Billie Kaye for a little less than 12. So, probably around that...

Hey guys, just curious....
I know most signings cost money. Very seldom are meet and greets free. Foley signed autographs after his comedy show for free unless you had him sign one of the photos that he had on hand and those were $10, but the money from those was going to a charitable cause. I’ve met Sheamus at a book signing for the 30 Years of WrestleMania book and the only charge was that you had to buy the book. But most other signings cost something.
My question is do you guys have a price limit per star, if they charge more than that you pass on the autograph. Do you normally go for just autograph or do you do the photo opp as well? And are there some stars that you would pay more to get?

I'll decide on a list (feasible within my budget) of items I want signed, then estimate how much it will cost. If it turns out that the actual cost exceeds my estimation, I'll shorten the list of items I want signed. If I'm a big fan of the wrestler, then I'll pay more I'd be willing to pay more, especially if its for my encyclopedia. I normally also do the photo-op if the price is right, but if I already have a photo with whoever is signing, then I might pass. Photo-ops are becoming more valuable to me than autographs are though.

Thanks for answering. I’ve just recently got into signings. I went to a comic con last year and met Jake Roberts and DDP. Planning on going back next year, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Rey Mysterio, Trish and Lita are supposed to be there. I noticed at the convention I went to, some of the celebrities had professional photo opportunities, but when I met DDP and Jake you could pay for autograph and pay to take a picture with them with your camera. Which do you usually do? Also have you noticed a ballpark price that most charge for autographs and photos? I think DDP and Jake charged $40 each for an autograph/photo, less for just the autograph.

No problem. I love signings (as you can probably tell from my thread). At those conventions, I normally do the table photo (i.e. photo with my camera) because its cheaper. I've only ever done one professional photo-op, and that was with Sting because the con wasn't offering table photos. Otherwise, lots of people do go for the professional photos. They usually of much higher quality, hence the higher prices for those types of photos. As for prices, I tend to see them at $30-$50 (I'm in Canada, so I'm talking Canadian dollars here) for each autograph or photo at big conventions. At indy shows, $10-$20 seems to be the norm. Some wrestlers do sign personal items for free at indy shows. As an example, I paid $70 total for a table photo and autograph from Bret Hart back in March at the Toronto Comic Con. One week later, I met Billy Gunn at an indy show, who was charging $10 per autograph or $20 for a photo.

I think $40 is alright, but don’t think I would wanna pay much over that, especially at a convention where I have the opportunity to meet multiple wrestlers. I would want to stretch my money to be able to meet all of them. Now if it was a special signing for just, for example, Bret Hart or Undertaker or someone like that I would be willing to pay a little more. I think getting the photo with them is more important than the actual autograph to me.

ellisd I typically don't limit myself to what I'll pay for someone, but that's mainly because I live in Montana so I don't have a whole lot of chances to go to meet and greets. But when I do get to go to them I typically set a limit for how much I will spend total not per wrestler. I always get photo ops unless Ive met the wrestler before then sometimes I'll skip it. The pro photo op I'll get when it's the only way to get a photo of course (like at super toy con in Vegas and wizard world) and I will sometimes depending on who it is. So at wrestlecon this year I did one with sting (cause he was in his paint), flair (cause he's my dads favorite wrestler so I thought it'd be a cool thing for us to do), and edge and Cristian (only way to get them together for the pic). Also, where's that comic con you mentioned at? I'd love to meet Trisha and I know she doesn't do too many signings.

If there's multiple people that I want to meet i'll budget accordingly. I never do the Professional photo ops because they're to expensive and always try to get a photo at the table, if that's not an option you can ask someone in line to take pics of your interaction with the person.
