Have you seen the Legends 2017 set? They're on eBay and probably have a lot of guys you'd like. I came across one card, i think a rick rude..but when i searched for a box i couldnt find anything. There are boxes on ebay. They run roughly around 100

If you are a fan of 80s and 90s legends, buy the box. Speaking of legends why arent there any as part of the 2018 topps set?

They left out a bunch of the top stars as well. There’s no Lesnar, Reigns, Rollins, Hardys or Nakamura in the base set either.

Haven't gotten a pack of cards in quite a while. Saw some 2018 set and pulled a base Reigns Summerslam relic, not bad.

Anyone planning to get an Undisputed 2018 Hobby Box? I am I’m debating about buying one off Ebay or topps. I feel like the Ebay boxes the experts know which ones have good stuff and which ones that don’t. But I also over think everything. U?

But recently a friend of mine got a box and pulled a triple H Stephanie McMahon dual auto card deck. The box was from eBay. Can’t remember the series. I think it was out of five but that may not be right. He also pulled some great hits in general but that was the one that really stood out.

What makes you think they know what's in the box if they're sealed?

What makes you think they know what's in the box if they're sealed? i dont know much about topps but i use to collect kidrobot and they use to be blind boxes and you could tell which cases had the rare figures and which ones didnt. so i just feel like they come in boxes of 8 cases i believe so i just feel like they know like which one will have the rare card. theres too many 1/1 cards appear and like real low numbers. but like i said i over think things. we a month away if anybody wanna maybe go half with me on a box message me.

I think cards, especially if they're sealed in boxes, are virtually impossible to tell what's inside (unless you x-ray them or use a metal detector, but you'd only tell for printing plates). Mystery figures you can get an idea based on shape, size, and weight, and they're in looser bags. I've got hobby boxes off eBay and some have been good, some average. It just comes down to the statistics of it, as it's gambling to a large extent, unless you're buying known cards. People who are selling boxes off eBay are making their money due to buying cases wholesale and selling retail priced hobby boxes.

So I just got done from a crazy whirlwind of an adventure. Went to Megacon 2018 and scored some nice autos of WF's resident favorite Alexa Bliss and the Internet Darling known as John Cena. I've linked my instagram just because it's easier than uploading to imgur and then copying the link and what not. (I forgot my imgur account). Before going into detail, I just also want to publicly apologize to anthony18. He sent me two items to get signed--1 for Alexa Bliss (trading card) and 1 for John Cena (book)--along with instructions to get an 8x10 signed of Bliss. Well, by sheer stupidity on my end, I somehow misplaced the card he sent so I couldn't get it signed (I told him that in a private message). I was able to find it after the event. I still got him the 8x10 and I did make it up to him after sending him back the costs. I really felt bad about alll of this. I was able to get the book signed by John Cena. So, story time: http://instagram.com/p/BjQ9Bq7ANL6 Alexa Bliss: ONce again, Bliss is amazing. Nothing bad to report. She is a total sweetheart--so much so that during a panel some girl confessed to Bliss about her own eating disorder, and Bliss took the time to speak to her directly and offer some amazing thoughts. I got in line about 2 hours before her signing. I was probably 5th in line. With one hour left before she arrived, the line had to be over 200 people at minimum. We were crammed like sardines. She was pretty much on time, and began signing the VIPs first. One "FAN" had a cart of approximately 10-12 Jakks WWE Women's Titles for her to sign along with 8x10s. That pretty much caused the line to enter a standstill which was disasterous for the fans after me. When I got to her, she quickly grabbed my custom as she was shocked by it. She gave it a thorough look over and said "this is amazing." She then saw my sticky note and began to sign the message until her handler said "No. We don't have any mroe time to personalize. The last VIP took too long". Bliss responded with something along the lines of "Well I have to at least finish this one." So I was the last one to be personalized--lucky for me, unlucky for everyone else. Her handler was really strict. Now, they weren't allowing any table side photos, so I had to settle for a pro photo. I am not photogenic as I always screw up a pro photo it seems. So I'm not posting it. lol I did learn today though that the company they use allows for retakes.I wish I knew that. So upset by that.. Before closing out the story, just wanted to add one thing. As I was leaving, I saw the "fan" had a boot setup in the convention. He was selling those Toys R Us exclusvie Jakks titles unsigned for 400--having the audacity to refer to them as actual replicas. The ones with Alexa was going for 600 I believe. For my photo with Cena, I actually bought from TRU that same title for 49.99 after the 50% off, so that guy was definitely taking advantage of people. If i hadn't been in a hurry to get home (as I had a long drive to do and had to do the same the next day), I would have said something. In retrospect, I wish I had. http://instagram.com/p/BjQXXuiAExa http://instagram.com/p/BjQ88M6gT0d John Cena: Yes. If you are wondering, I successfully cashed in my MITB contract against John Cena lol. He is such a remarkable, humble human being in person. I cannot describe how awesome he is. I was a Cena fan when he first appeared and became the Dr. of Thuganomics, and then kind of soured on him when he wasSuper Cena. I then matured and realized he wasn't really burying anyone IMO, and began to really appreciate him. Such an awesome fun guy. We had a nice little chat about how he values the fans and their opinions. Class act. Just a question: WHY ARE THEIR HANDLERS CRAZY?!? This handler would not let anyone get anything personalized. I had a sticky note on it that said "To Rob" and she snatched it off. It was only because she was distracted by Tim White while I was getting my item signed that I was able to quickly convince Cena to write "To Rob". It was a gamble as sometimes my anxiety makes me mispronounce my own name lol. But he heard it clearly, and the handler was not paying atttention, so he winked and did it. Photo is pretty much self explanatory. I went in and said, come on I'm cashing in on you. Hold the belt and I'm going to just going to wind up. He said "let's do it" And bam. There ya go.
