Used goof off on Lex to make my Warrior. Left this residue... Any idea what to get it off with? Twist the torso and wipe the areas with Goof Off very lightly. Take an exacto to scrape where it appears the ab area smeared/melted down towards the tights. After it all dries, brush this on with a paintbrush:

Need a shirt for a Vince Russo can anyone think of a Sports figure that would work? Or anything at all? something like this I think Vince is a douche, but he's part of WCW history and want him lol I recall a Jakks TTL Shane O'Mac figure with a shiny blue, cloth jersey with white lining and just a generic look to it that I always thought would be perfect for a Vince Russo custom. If I could suggest a recipe, it would be: I do believe that Punk head could be modified to work for Vince Russo. Needs the unibrow added, the eyebrows & facial hair repainted entirely, and the hair sanded down and resculpted, IMO Legends Funk Torso/arms (or even possibly Amazon Exclusive Mankind torso for his later, pot-bellied days) E36 Ambrose legs Jakks TTL Shane McMahon Blue cloth shirt w/white trim Or Modified Bad News Barrett head Elite Daniel Bryan torso (or Elite Curtis Axel torso, or Legends Funk torso, but I would have to believe you'd get the best flexibility/playability from a smaller torso) Recent Basic Series Jerry Lawler arms & soft plastic t-shirt piece (with graphics easily removed & replaced with "New Blood" logo, etc.- or simply left blank, as he was seen in many segments on WCW TV simply wearing a black t-shirt & jeans) DM Austin Legs (90's lighter jeans he also dawned several times) Best of luck to you! And, for some odd reason, you have me slightly interested in trying to attempt a Vince Russo fix-up, lol. It's a strange day, indeed...

I'm not feeling Armando honestly. I want to do as little work as possible on the head, and even though it looks nothing like him this Punk head has the beard and slicked back hair... Yeah...it doesn't look like him much, but it's not like any figure of him is getting made any time soon. Maybe Ambrose with a painted hair and beard?

That's great but we're talkin bout how it would work for Vince Russo Actually, looking around online I think this head would work with repainted hair and painted on beard for Russo. free image uploadingI like this option for Russo, just paint the eyes a very dark brown and add a beard

So I've got a lot of fixup/custom projects in the works, or at least the planning stage. Problem is I just haven't felt like working on them recently. So I thought I would post some work in progress pictures. Hopefully sharing them with some fellow customizers will spark my interest in painting and part swapping. Angle is pretty much finished. Still have some painting to do, to finish my Anvil to match the new basic Bret. Shawn is my attempt at a post retirement look. Its not final yet, just haven't found a better shirt yet. Kinda like the tank top look though. WrestleMania 13 Undertaker. Still need to paint the hair on this one. It needs to have at least some brown in it. Vince's hair needs to be painted too, and I'm not 100% satified with the height. Seems a bit short to me, but maybe its because he's beside Taker. Also, Vince is completely inspired by another users work on here. If its yours, I'm not trying to steal your idea and claim it as my own....just can't remember who did it originally.

ellisd I think we have the same Angle custom. Boots might be a little different but I enjoy it. That anvil needs more pics though. Looks awesome. Is that a shrunken jakks head?

Was wondering if anyone had tried using a big show torso for Samoa Joe? Was considering it, but I'm not 100% sold on it. Also started painting the jakks attitude era world and Mattel European championship strap as well. Going to start on Finn tonight. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

So I was thinking about doing an arm switch on my DM Sting because I just think the arms are WAY too big. The triceps are so big it's ridiculous.
I was thinking about taking the arms from an extra Elite 30 Hawk figure, however, when I removed the hand from Hawk and attempted to replace it with a black hand, I noticed that the peg for the black hand is much smaller than the peg hole in the Hawk arm, which caused the hand to rattle around. The hole in the Hawk arm is much larger than most Mattel figures, to my knowledge.
So my question is, are there any figures that come with black hands that have a thick enough peg to fit into an Elite 30 Hawk arm without causing it to rattle?
Thanks.
