Which hair? The figure i posted? I know a lot of the FC figures have stand-up Marge Simpson hair, but that one doesn't look all too bad to me. You have to look at it from the side. Straight on it looks fine but otherwise its extremely wind swept.

Eh, nothing that some heat or an exacto-blade wouldn't fix.

I had that figure back in the day. Loved the articulation, hated the head. That's not to mention the hair is just giant in general and would look very odd on a Mattel body (much like it does on the FM body, I guess).

there's nothing worse than trying to match a skin tone. Been trying to paint a Jakks Val Venis head to match the Mattel semi-tan skin tone for 2 hours. Every time I think I've got it, I let it dry and it turns out to be NOT EVEN CLOSE lol. Any suggestions? I've been trying a few mixtures of brown, khaki, tan, white, and orange. What tone are you trying to match? so far I've got a decent match for Del Rio tone and Cena tone.

Thanks man. I've been randomly mixing and matching paint to see what works. No luck yet, I'll give it another go in the morning

Has anyone made a Kassius Ohno? I'm thinking of making myself one and wanted to know what head and body would be best? Here's a photo of my Hero custom. I used a Charlie Haas head with some modding. I am going to try to redo it soon.

Welp, I done done it . I've finished my Hollywood. What a hassle by the time it was all said and done, but I'm pleased and I was patient and started cracking torsos. Going to try to whip up a cloth bandana out if SDCC undertaker fabric. Might go Jakks for a weight belt depending if I want to search for something from 15-20 years ago. Anyways Recipe: HOF Head Iron Sheik torso(perfect IMO) Basic series ? Arms Undertaker trunks and thighs Hawk knees and calves Demolition Crush boots Ran into a roadblock with boots. Demolition boots are the only ones I got to fit the calf and still keep him about scale Tried Luger and Sandow boots to no avail. Anyhow here's Hollywood Hulk Hogan Any suggestion on knees/boots would be much appreciated. Also decided to keep paint to the beard only so my Hollywood is ballpark accurate and is fully playable. Hulk's gotta lot of favors to do, brother! That looks awesome brother, I used elite 26 ultimate worrior boots and knee joints on my 2002 hulk with taker crotch and thighs it came out great for me

For the look and time I'm trying to capture, his hair seems like it would stick out at all sorts of angles, and was pretty big, so really this works perfect for me. I'll post when I finish the custom and we'll see how it goes. (I've just started watching the original NXT episodes on Hulu; I started watching in 2014 when the network made its debut but had never seen the old episodes before until about a week ago; now I'm about a month into 2013. It's AWESOME, and so far Kassius has been my favorite of the original NXT guys!)

Orange is always *too red* for me to use. I hate describing colors using words. I use to work at a paint store and the worst thing ever is trying to describe colors. What I call gold, you might call yellow on and on in a never ending crapfest of stupidity

Pedigree - Nice! What were the steps for using the CS boots? I might give that a try myself.

Pedigree - Nice! What were the steps for using the CS boots? I might give that a try myself. It's not perfect, I'll start by saying that... I heated up the Jakks lower leg and removed it from the figure. My girlfriend does a lot of cooking so she has some very massive knives. I used one to make a smooth, clean cut across the top of the boot (the Jakks CS boots aren't separate pieces the way Mattel boots are). II also trimmed down the peg from the bottom of the leg too. That's pretty much it. The boot itself fits the lower leg just fine. No overhang or anything. You can also just use some super glue if you don't care about the lack of movement.
