Does anyone know if some how, some way someone owns the cancelled CS Jim Cornette prototype? In hopes of getting a cast of the head to make a BAF fix up of JC? I really want to score the new Vader & Mankind, but cant commit until I know Cornette can be made. No... but there's always this head ![](http://www.figurerealm.com/Galleries/wwfjakkspacific/JimCornette-Ringside2-Front.jpg)

In two minds to buy a big pile of fodder as on one hand I need it for customs but on the other hand there's parts I'll end up not needing. Halp.

Anyone on here done a Mattel Stan Hansen?
If so I would love to see it or if anyone has any suggestions for one
Thinking early 1990's WCW or AWA version not the 70s version
You know Terry Funk style gear look

Here's a question for all the great figure fixers and customizers that frequent here.
Does the possibility of Mattel making a figure ever influence your decision to do a fixup/custom?
For example, I picked up a second set of Elite 30 LOD to make WCW/NWA Road Warriors. I missed on the original Road Warriors figure and figured it would be cheaper to buy the new ones at retail than it would be to track down the originals. I doubt they are gonna rerelease the Road Warriors, so its a safe bet to go on with my customs.
but on the other hand....
I also bought an Elite 28 Crush because I wanted to do an Evil Crush or a Kona Crush, but the thought that about the time I finished it Mattel would announce they were making one kinda has me hesitant to get started.
Also wanting to pick up an extra Luger for a WCW fixup, but if I knew Mattel was going to make a WCW version I would just wait for it.
I'm just curious if anyone else thinks about that before work on a custom/fixup, or even think about it after Mattel release a figure that you had already spent time fixing up?

If not, I would have a scott hall, flashback jericho, and countless others. Pretty much the only characters that I have no worries about mattel making are either A. Obscure jobbers that nobody would want anyway or B. ECW wrestlers

I actually made a Scott Hall and Razor Ramon earlier this year, now we have an official one coming out. I used that thought process when Classic Superstars were coming out. I just made customs of guys that were either employed elsewhere or weren't going to be made due to legal reasons.

That Blackman is awesome. I've been watching a lot of early Smackdown episodes and he's been featured a lot so that got a pop out of me.
