Some of you do some excellent work. Wanted to pose a decal question: Is there some sort of tutorial on decals? Not sure which decal paper to use. What type of printer works best? What do you do to the decal once you put it on so it stays/ doesn't get worn off? Thanks! I have a lot of respect for customizers who ask questions to become better craftsmen. Thank you. Seems like everyone just wants everything done for them these days! I use Testors Decal Paper (white) for everything except decals that will go on skin (i.e. tattoos, Hakushi's Japanese art on his skin). I've used Papilio, but the decals were hard to remove from the backing and the corners lifted after time. I use an HP printer and when printing, use the highest DPI setting. I use a Word program to size and organize the decals, then print. Once printed, I use a gloss Lacquer (Testors clear). You could use a decal bonder, but I've found the gloss dealer works very well. Walmart spray paint will not work. It will seal the decal to the backing paper. When trying to remove the decal, it will be difficult to remove, like a piece of saran wrap. Let the decals sit for a few hours (flat) once printed. Then spray with the sealer and let it sit over night. Go easy on the sealer. Dust the paper, not flood. Once dry, Cut the decal and lay it ink side up in very cold water (hot will make the decal paper slide off prematurely). I use a glue stick and q tip to place a little adhesive on te receiving figure (the decal has adhesive, but not a lot). After about 30 seconds in cold water, carefully remove the decal and slowly slide the bottom off, while setting the top sheet on the figure. Use a paper towel, terry cloth to dab the decal edges. If the decal is incorrectly placed, do your best to straighten it out. If you can't, peel the decal off and try again! A lot of the sizing (eyeing), printing, and especially laying decals is tough, but it gets better. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask.

tarver89 will you do a group shot when finished? Tarver looks fabulous Thanks man! Sure, as of now there's a group shot but they're not finished yet. I'm trying to make the chinese tattoos for Tarver's chest but i can't find good pics anywhere. It would be easier if i'd know their meanings so i can translate the words in chinese and use the font in photoshop to print the decals. Next one will be D-Young.

I'm sorry, guys, but posting pics on this site is new to me, and I cannot recall if HTML works or not. That being said, I would like to share with you, my newest Seth Rollins (work-in-progress) fix-up: rs1321.pbsrc.com/albums/u560/ryanandrewblack/Mobile%20Uploads/20150129_143145_zpsejktubc8.jpg~320x480rs1321.pbsrc.com/albums/u560/ryanandrewblack/Mobile%20Uploads/20150129_144343_zpsqlquebfw.jpg~320x480Recipe: E33 Seth Rollins head (with hair, facial hair, and eyebrows repainted) E33 Cesaro torso (with chest hair sanded-down for a more accurate look) E20 Cody Rhodes shoulders E25 Seth Rollins arms E1 MVP gloved-hands/wristbands E1 Edge upper legs E29 CM Punk knee joints, calves, knee pads, and boots The "SR" belt buckle is more of a place-holder, that I did off-memory in a hurry. I just recently obtained the paint necessary to detail the three different shades of black in his tights design, and will absolutely be touching that up as well. Thanks for looking, and if someone could post my pics, I'd be eternally grateful Fantastic work all-around as usual, guys. This thread is always a major source of inspiration. This is my first time posting a fix-up, feedback is always appreciated! Take care Looks awesome, man! Great torso choice. Thanks, bro! I thought the Cesaro torso needed just a little touching-up to get a more accurate look. After doing some light sanding where the chest hair spreads out, I was pretty satisfied with how it turned out. I'm gonna try to get his tights painted today, and hopefully finish the Dean Ambrose I've been working on, too. Great work all-around, guys. It's nice to see folks perfecting their decal game, heh. I wish I had the tools necessary to make my own! Some of you guys really got it down.

I paint all of my logos but have been thinking about trying decals. Just haven't talked myself into trying it yet. That and I need a new printer before I start something like that.

Any Elite Sheamus has them, except the BOPPV one that has the gold lines. Another fix up: i think that sometimes the smallest fix ups are the best ones. I always found the E21 Del Rio book pointless so i used it to recreate a more special one... ROCK, THIS IS YOUR LIFE!

Any suggestions on a Jeff Hardy head? I bought 2 separate Jakks TTL Hardy's (at least I think they were both TTL series) and both are too big. I didn't collect back then so I'm really unfamiliar with what was available. Did some ebay searches and I'm not sure what will fit and what wont.

For a heel Jeff Hardy B33 Dean looks great.
