Hello!
Does anybody happen to know when/where Jake Roberts wore the tights that he has on his All Stars 2-pack figure? I don't recall ever seeing those tights before the figure was released. Any help with this I would appreciate.

I live for this!
Late 89 he started wearing this design both in blue and in green, Jakks made the blue one btw.
My favorite Snake gear ever! Mattel has made 2 amazing Jake Roberts figures.

in regards to Jake Roberts figures-I love them-hardly a bad one made IMO.

Hmmm...thanks! That's the outfit for sure! I was thinking it was around 1996 but he was wearing the vest then... He also had a huge gut in 96, which is likely the reason for the vest. If they ever wanted to make a 96 version they should use a Duggan type of body. |

While I like the figure, I would've preferred the tights he wore on SNME when he gave the Dragon the DDT on the floor.

There is a house show from early 1989 on WWE On Demand currently and Jake is wearing those tights on it.

its still on WWE CLASSICS ON DEMAND on cable... on the episode from MAY 15th 1989 of PrimeTime Wrestling hosted By Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby The Brain Heenan.. under TV CLASSICS
Jake the snake was scheduled to wrestle ted dibiase but dibiase just sent virgil down, after jake ddt'd the bodyguard, he was attachek by The Multi-Million Dollar Man!!....
He's wearing the exact gear from all stars.. he wore it alot in 89
