Not sure if we talked about this last year, but has anyone checked out Frozen? I really dug it when it first came out on Blu and I gave it another watch last night. Still a VERY impressive horror film!
I wish Adam Green would do more stuff like Frozen and less like Hatchet. I enjoy the blood and gore in Hatchet, but Frozen is much better filmmaking.

Yeah, I saw Frozen and I really liked it a lot but it's not really horror like Hatchet is, it's more of a suspense thriller.
I watched House of 1000 Corpses with my friend last night. It was his first time watching it but he really liked it. I really love that absurd surrealist stuff they do in that movie.

I just think Green does much better when he does stuff like Frozen opposed to Hatchet. It's a lot harder making really good suspense compared to hack n slash gorefests.

Watching Halloween H20 simply because it's on tv right now. Possibly my least favorite Halloween movie.

Watching Halloween H20 simply because it's on tv right now. Possibly my least favorite Halloween movie. Really? Behind the first two its my favorite. It sticks with the original story which I enjoy. Dont care for 4 or 5 that much, and the reasoning behind Michael killing off his family in the 6th is down right stupid. Though I do enjoy Paul Rudd in it. And their is no way I will even consider the abortion that is Resurrection as a good movie. I did however enjoy the second half of the Zombie remake, but not the second movie. List is probably: Halloween Halloween II Halloween H20 Rob Zombies Halloween Halloween 4 Halloween 5 Halloween 6 H2 Resurrection

as a kid I hated halloween 3 because it didnt have michael in it. Now as an adult horror fan, i love it. such a bizarre movie that definately stands on its own. And you can NEVER go wrong with Tom Atkins!!!

I met Tom Atkins last November. Very cool guy. My wife was pregnant at the time and he gave me parenting advice! How cool is that?! Anyway, hope you all had a great Halloween. I ended my night with a Double Feature of Nightmare on Elm Street 3 and the first Scream. The cool thing is that every time someone got a phone call from ghostface in his deep voice...my little guy would look at me and immitate the sound of the voice all while smiling a creepy toothless little smile. He would also immitate any screaming he heard onscreen. It was a proud moment.
