The only Carrie I saw was "The Rage: Carrie 2." Awesome flick. I was just thinking about Relic today. I never finished it when I was a kid. Quite freaky. I may check it out again soon.
On an alternate note, what is your favorite clown based horror movie. I love clowns, and horror is brilliant, so I was wanting some to watch one of these days. I know of Killjoy, IT, and Killer Clowns From Outer Space, but that is as much as I know, outside of Vulgar, which should have been a horror film, due to how hard, scary/depressing, it was to watch.

Tusk looks pretty interesting, but I'm admittedly more interested in Green Inferno and As Above, So Below. Is Oculus any good? I've heard decent things about it but I'm incredibly skeptical of any film WWE has a hand in

Wow, I have not been on here in a while. Under 100 days til Halloween, everyone getting excited? I am so excited, every year me and the wife try to do matching costumes. We've been vampires, Frankenstein and the Bride, last year I was a wolf man and she was little red riding hood. This year we were going to do something clown themed, but my son was born so we have to rethink everything and see if we can do costumes in theme for the 3 of us. Halloween, to me, is THE greatest day of the year. It was back a few weeks ago when me and the wife were at Babies R Us that I saw they started putting out some Halloween themed baby clothes that I got so excited. I cant wait till they clear out all that school stuff and bust out the Halloween stuff at Target and Walmart. It also angers me so much that I know that along with the Halloween stuff they will start putting Xmas stuff out as well. I cant wait to go to Haunted Houses.

Ok, sorry for all the posts.
This is the reason I came on here to begin with.
I just watched a youtube video done by AdamtheWoo. He took a trip out to the Monroeville Mall, where Dawn of the Dead was filmed. I was pretty depressed by a couple of things I saw in that video. The Ice skating rink is gone, now it's a food court. And what made me the saddest is the JC Penny which was the background for multiple scenes in the movie is now gone. It was demolished and turned into a Cinemark theater. How poetic that a theater now stands in the spot where such a great movie was filmed.
Im so jealous of anyone who was around during the time that film was recorded. And im jealous of anyone who was able to walk in this mall and see the sights before they were so drastically changed.
Here is the video incase anyone is interested.

Rented Wolf Creek 2 from Redbox. Out of 10 I give it a strong 7. Mildly brutal, in my opinion. I enjoyed the singing scene, and I thought there was one legitimate scare. Which is one more than most horror films these days. The end is weak though. It's confusing and abrupt. But overall, the series so far has been strong. I would watch a third.
I also got Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. I give it an 8 out of 10. I know it has been widely criticized and only has a 5.1 IMDB score, but I strongly disagree with the critics. It was more than effective and worked it's way into the overall grand picture of the series nicely. I really liked it a lot. Legitimately scary-tense at the end.

So after I got out of work tonight, I decided to check out the movie that my cousin kept telling me was pretty good since we love horror flicks - Night of the Demons (the original). I found it on YouTube and watched it...I really thought it was pretty fuggin' dumb and a waste of time.

That's the first thing I thought. Anyway, saw As Above So Below last night. While this is yet another handheld footage film and there are some gripes I had, I thought this was brilliant. Was tense throughout, and I love the whole mythology ordeal. Thought it genuinely portrayed Hell in the most realistic way possible.

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you guys might be able to help me. I am looking for the name of a teen/college (from anytime to no later than 2006) horror flick where a guy gets killed by glass from a mirror above a bed. There may have been a guy killed by a snake, a death in a boiling hot tub, and a wire killing some guy while he was working on an air conditioner. Any help would be greatly appreciated, even telling me of where to go to get help on it. Thanks and much respect.

For you hardcore muther-effers, I watched Frontier(s). It was pretty brutal, which is it's reputation.

I was looking around Facebook a few hours ago and came across a posting from Halloween Movies and the original Halloween is being screened in theaters again this October (I'm pretty sure it's the remastered version that came out on the 35th Anniversary bluray last year) and it's finally playing in a theater near me. Every other time they did this it was like down in NYC or in Buffalo or some nonsense.
Even though I've seen the movie at least 200 times in various incarnations over the years, I still plan on seeing it in theaters in October.

Oh also watched Eden Lake. Barely above average. Not sure it's worthy of it's reputation. Has one legit disturbing moment though.
Wouldn't put it on my list of most disturbing films, but some people do.
