Come on down South. Only one Target down here has those high prices. The rest have Basics for $9.99-$10.99 and Elites for $14.99.

My Target last week had Basics at $10.99 and Elites at 14.99. No way I would pay the 14/19

I can understand not buying from Target because of their prices but Target has one of the best return policy's out of ANYWHERE. I've never had trouble returning something there. It isn't their fault Mattel only made your voucher for $16. The Target employees don't know and all they can take off is $16 because that's all Mattel offered you. So I wouldn't blame Target for that. That will happen anywhere you go. Happened to me with Defining Moments at TRU. They gave me a $25 voucher I had to put out the difference.

Target is THE WORST when it comes to returns/refunds/exchanges. Their customer service is worse than Best Buy.

The target I work at is still $15.99 and $9.99. Also we price match with any sales flyer. So I won't boycott them.

Wow, those prices are whack. Good thing my local store has only had an Elite Finlay and SSH Cena in stock for the past 2 months.
Hopefully new packaging cuts the prices down a bit. I think they should just clamshell Elites so cheap f**ks don't steal the belts, but that's another topic.

My target doesn't even have elites Mine either. I stopped at two Targets the other day and neither had Elites or even any tags where they would be.

This isn't wrestling related but I did get a Transformer figure for $0.35 a couple weeks back at Target. Target is cheaper than TRU here.

I know its been noted you don't want to know aboard prices, but I just want US collectors to know how cheap they've been getting figures for ages, whilst the rest of the world suffers
In UK our Elites retail at $20.55
But they've just hiked the price up to $26.87
So it looks like its a worldwide price hike, but you're still getting the much better deal.
EDIT-And thats at TRU btw. Smyths our other big retailer has the next set of Elites in at that price too. So it sucks, pricing customers out of the market, I won't buy Elites at that price, its just too much.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't get the need for a voucher. Why not just return the figure with a receipt. I broke a wrist peg on an elite and just returned it to Target, told them it was broke, and they gave me the cash.

In Canada, for the longest time when our dollar was stronger than the american dollar, basics cost $15, elites cost $20, two packs cost $30 and DM cost $40. Our dollar was stronger for a year yet you guys had AMAZING deals compared to us, plus the fact that we barely get sh*t at all, you guys should be happy that mattel sends you anything that's even updated in the first place.

I don't expect Bandai of Japan or Takara Tomy to be stocking my local Walmart/Target/TRU.

It's funny because the UK, Australia, hell even Mexico has it better when it comes to distribution than Canadians. Mattel just doesn't give two sh*ts about us so they send series over and over that practically every Canadian collector or wrestling fan has gotten by now. :l

Elites are now $18.19 at most Targets (BEFORE TAX) I also used my Mattel manufacturer's coupon (only $16 off as a "replacement" Elite). When I tried to return the figure or exchange it, they said that I can only be paid $2.19 credit towards another figure or a $2.19 gift card. That's right. So I recommend NOT buying figures from Target because their prices are skyrocketing (I believe the Basic style figs are now ~$15/each) and their return/refund/exchange policy is straight-up stupid. Just a head's up so you used your coupon... and paid the difference to begin with.. so you only paid $2.19 for the figure... SO 1. why are you returning or trying to exchange the figure you HAD to get. 2. YOU only paid $2.19 for it, because you used that voucher.. so dont be mad at them for wanting to refund you what you PAID for it...

The more retail outlets do this, the more I justify buying from Ringside. Im to the point where I really have to want something to buy it at retail for those prices. We went through this with the TRU prices so though so I can't say I'm shocked.
