I'm pretty sure he's not saying that, but that there have been a lot more people that haven't been able to get over, and only a small portion that includes Lesnar and Kane, have been able to do so. Yes, I know that it doesn't work most of the time but the person I originally quoted said it never works.. I was simply pointing out that there are rare occasions that it does work so it shouldn't be ruled out as a possibility. I could include Umaga in there, too. Give Mason Ryan the equivalent of a Paul Bearer or Paul Heyman and he'd probably get over. Give him a good mouth piece like you said and more ring skills. The guy isn't terrible but he needs more training for sure. Lone Wolf hit the nail on the head. I know that Lesnar and Kane we're both over, but there's lots of guys they've tried the "Silent Killer" gimmick with and it's failed. Most recent one that comes to mind is Vladamir Kozlov. I still find it hard to believe that months of being undefeated, including a clean, unexpected win over The Undertaker lead to teaming with Santino and an eventual release. That's the WWE machine working at its finest.

The tag match he was in the other week against Swagger and Ziggler was AWFUL because of him constantly botching.

He looks freakishly huge and not in a good way. I haven't seen any guys that ripped and defined in this WWE in a long while.

^ Yeah can we get a 100% legit wellness test for him...
But yeah I don't like him at all.
He sucks imo and if he wins the US title it will be very sad.

Mason Ryan moves like his joints are replaced with muscles.

He does not move very well. That is the one drawback when a guy is chiseled from granite

Im sure Vince would love for Mason to improve on his ring work but because of the departure of Batista and other big men Vince just wants to fill the void quickly with Mason.

I actually like Mason Ryan since he turned heel. I do agree on the fact that he needs to work on his character and charisma before getting a push, which I don't understand why the hell can't they put a manager on this guy because a manager will totally help him get even more over. He's still in FCW for those saying he should stay there, just like Curtis is still in FCW and AJ & Kaitlyn, and also Jinder Mahal.

He is definitely not ready to be on tv. He is embarrassing himself. It's actually pretty pathetic. He sucked in the 'New Nexus' and he sucks now.
But, I am rooting for him because when he was working as the door guy (with Brodus Clay) at FCW he was extremely cool.

I don't think I've ever sat through one of this guy's matches. But he has a great look, when he keeps his hair longer so he doesn't look too much like Batista.
Also, Mason Ryan has to be the blandest name in WWE history, even with the obscure pun.

I dig it. If he was a heel, he'd still be drowned in 'Batista' chants. I haven't heard one yet since his face turn. As for him being awful in the ring; everyone can improve. The reason Mason Ryan is being pushed over Tyson Kidd, Johnny Curtis, Justin Gabriel, etc. is because they need MUSCLE, not more athletic wrestlers. We already have enough athletic wrestlers as it is; I think that the main thing the WWE needs right now is their basic 'bodybuilder look' superstar. And they're experimenting that with Ryan.
