So because the 10th Anniversary of Slipknot's Iowa released today - erm, technically yesterday - I decided to go into the vault and break out the Xbox GTA Double Pack. Also because the GTA V trailer premieres at 11:30AM EST. Anyways, I was trying to think back to the PS2 version of GTA III, and I can't remember everything exact. So I was wondering if there were any major differences between the PS2 and Xbox versions of the game....besides the controls.

From what Wikipedia had to say, the only difference is audio and some polygons.

I know I'd shoot across the map at random times on my Xbox GTA III...but there's a chance that could've just been my copy.

Lots of added details were made for the xbox versions. More polished vehicles and environments for one. Fingers were no longer glued together etc.

on the xbox version, the faces were more touched up. on the PS2 version, you can see where the facial texture splits, but not on the XBOX.
