I don't really know if I should because I have this cool Randy orton figure from jakks, and its tatoos are a lot more realistic unlike Mattel's. But mattel adds scale, and a little more realistic form or Randy Orton. Which one should I get? Pic of my Orton : randy I'm thinking about getting:

If you decide to get an Elite Randy Orton, I strongly suggest getting the newest E12 one. It has the newer, more intense headscan (Perfect for the Viper!) and it's the first Elite Orton to be accurately scaled. All the previous Elites are just a tiny bit taller than they're supposed to be. Here are some pics for reference: I hope this helps!

Are you sure the Jakks one has better tats? I never got an Orton with his new sleeves back then so I wouldn't know, but the Elite versions have two different tones for his tribal tats and then his newer skull sleeves. It even has the rose painted red with his daughter's name, and the tiniest damn passage you'll ever see written by his elbow. Aside from the lack of shading, I thought they did a pretty good job on his Elites. Not so much the Basics, though.

What I meant by Jakks being better is because Mattel made theirs too dark.

Yeah listen too Micro.. I pre ordered the E12 one and he is coming at the end of the month and i dont even like Orton but for once, im really excited too get that very E12 version of him with the black and red tights lol i had the Best of 2010 Orton which was his first Elite fig, and it was good and all, but i sold him off asap when i pre ordered E12 just because i am more excited for that version over the others that were released

Elite 12 or 9 would be your best bet, but, if you can't get either of those, get Elite 2. They're all great figures and are FAR superior to their Jakks counterparts.

I'm not such a big fan of Orton, but I just had to get the Elite series 2 figure because it's so damn nice. To this day, it is still one of, if not the best figure in my WWE collection. Despite Mattel's notorious parts reuse, the figure looks like it was moulded after Orton himself! The newer ones have a slightly better headsculpt, but (I think) they have brown eyes?! Brown eyes for the 'Blue Eyed killer'. Nice, haha.

I've got the Orton Elite from the Best of 2010 Elite set. The exact same Orton from Elite series 2. I love that one. I think the 2 newest Elite's of Orton (9 and 12) have a better face scan and a better attire than the one I have.
I say just go for the Elite series 12 Orton. More up to date.

E9 is probably the best. Great scan, black and vibrant yellow trunks, cool T-shirt.

Definitely get an Elite! I'd recommend E9 or the All-Stars Orton, as they're my personal favorites. But, every Elite Orton so far has been great!

I like the Elite 2 Orton scan way better than the most recent one.

I like the Elite 2 and Elite 9 Orton better than the Elite 12. I don't really care that he's a little taller than he should, because by making him in "scale" for Elite 12 they lost the look of his realistic body parts.
In real life Randy Orton has very long legs, and a really long, slender torso....in making him smaller in Elite 12, to me, the figures body parts just look too small and boxy.
I like the Randy Orton figures with the longer torso.

I have E2, 9, 12 & all stars. I put the B12 scan on e9 orton body. Looks really good IMO. Head looks freshly shaved. But def get an elite orton.
