If anything the Powers of Pain were a copy of the Legion of Doom, right down to their look, hair style and even their finisher.
Demolition is a great tag team and I have been a fan ever since I first seen them. I even have the Superstars in which they debuted, back when it was Ax and the original Smash, before Barry Darsow took over.
Nice Demolition collection, I have the same collection only with Classic Series Repo Man, Crush, and Hasbro Repo Man. I want to get the two other Hasbro Crush figures but they are always pretty pricey.

I loved Demo, but I always feel sad whenever I see how bad they look now, especially Ax. They are alive so to me they still look great. I think Demolition is a million times better than LOD/Road Warriors because Demolition knew how to work. They had to work for years before they got their break. Unlike Road Warriors which had everything handed to them from the start so to me it seems like they had HUGE egos. No offense to you, Hollywood Hogan, you're collection is very sweet. I really like the mix of companies, and loose/MOC items. But, Milincoln King of the Road, you actually think Demolition could work and the Road Warriors couldn't? I'm blown away by that statement. The Warriors were better athletes by light years. They were quicker, more agile, and stronger. They also had a much more diverse moveset. It's not even close.
