I love the show...but...
I actually felt the season finale tonight was totally anti-climatic.

I'm not sure...
It wasn't a BAD finale. It was just underwhelming after the season 2 kidnapping finale and the amazing FBI agent assassination finale last season. I think they should have just made last weeks episode 90 minutes instead of dragging it out for another week only to deliver a medicore finale.
Still love the show though! Already looking forward to season 5!

I love the show....but of the 4 seasons, this was EASILY the weakest Season Finale. I didn't think anything could top the Season 3 Finale, but last nights show just seemed a little uneventful to me.
It just seemed like NOTHING happened.
We all knew Romeo was undercover when he said Otto didn't sell out the club, because we knew it happened.
We all knew Clay wasn't going to get killed and that Jax was staying.
I'm actually glad that the show didn't do something shocking just for the sake of being shocking, like kill Juice or something.
But it just seemed like the entire episode was all talk, and basically finalizing everything we pretty much already knew. No new developments, no new information, no twists or turns.
This was the extra 14th Episode FX ordered instead of ending the season with last weeks episode.....I gotta say they probably should have just left it with last weeks episode and left us wondering if Clay was going to die or not.
Every episode usually has one or two huge moments that make you go "HOLY CRAP"......I kept waiting for that "moment"....but it never happened.

Agreed with above. I remember looking at my friends at about 10:53 and saying "if this is how it ends then it's gonna be pretty lame". I was still hoping for something...anything more but it never came.

i agree that part 1 felt like more of a finale, but i can't disagree with how they ended the season. you could just feel how everything seems to be going in a new and different direction, and i'm already waiting for season 5. i especially enjoyed how they ended the episode at the end with the picture of his father.

It wasn't just a weak finale, it was one of the weakest episodes in SOA's 4 year run.

I figured the season was going to end with the crew from Oakland pulling into the shop and shotting it up in revenge for Tigg being involved in the death of the girlfriend of the 19ers leader and that she was also the daughter of a even higherup in a Oakland gang. It would just have them shot up the place and then have the season end and we would have to wait untill next season just to see how everyone made it thru.

I didn't think it was a bad episode... I just think everybody is let down by the fact that the past few episodes have been so exciting that we want more and more. But that's what is going to keep people watching next year.

My question is what is Opi's role going to be next season? i've seen people say he might come back and kill jax, the same way clay killed jt. but that means opie will fall in love with tara if they're going the same route. either way, i cannot wait.
