The rockers being sold on Mattel shop was a mistake pure and simple. The entire run was slated to be a Matty exclusive. I believe 500 sets got sold at $20. (another big mistake). I am not sure what is going to happen with the backorders but I would suspect that those orders will be cancelled and the people that placed them will be directed to Matty. Rest assured there are plenty of Rockers there and everyone that wants one should be able to get one. |

I was able to get 3 Rockers from there for the price of 2 Rockers from Matty. That's unbelievable, I wish they didn't tell me to cancel my order. I'm a bit upset about this. I was told by 2 reliable sources (Mattel Shop CS and WWE guys on Matty Collector forum) that the backorders would not be fulfilled and to cancel my order now to get my money back faster. |

You guys should have just left the orders up but instead you canceled it yourself so now Mattel isn't liable for your cancellation.
It would be pretty funny if Mattelshop goofs up again and lists Andre for $15.99.

I waited until the very last minute hoping that we would get a definitive answerer on the whole backorder issue and of course that never came. I went ahead and cancelled my order because I didn't want to end up with 4 of them but I also wasn't going to take a chance on missing them completely. How convenient that over 24 hours after they go on sale on Matty they decide to tell us the backorders will be fulfilled after all. Nothing like blowing $25 when you don't need to. I also love how most people on here swore up and down there was no way the backorders would get fulfilled. Goes to show that most people have no clue what there talking about on here. Next time leave the answers to Mattel. |

Not sure if you have any solid indication or not Bill (thanks for posting BTW) but are The Rockers selling well enough at this point that the team is encouraged to look at more tag teams for 2013; too soon to tell or do people need to keep buying a lot more and will the shopmattel goof skew figures making it harder to gauge going forward with tag teams?
Last question I promise (for today at least- smile) is there a reason mattycollector is the distributor for these and not shopmattel? Mainly asking because the shipping price is twice as much on mattycollector and I think people would be more willing to plunk down $25 for the single legends than $30 on mattycollector.
