Harts/Davis vs Santana/Bulldogs @ WM3.
Pity Billingtons injury changed this from Bulldogs dropping the titles to the Harts in a thrilling encounter to a 6 man where he does very little

Jake Roberts vs Rick Martel - WrestleMania VII
As a kid I didn't think much of this match, but it has grown on me in recent years.

Started on my WM Main Events today.
WM: Hogan/ Mr T vs Orndorff/Piper. Still good stuff.
WM2: Hogan vs Bundy...meh. Vince needed to bounce back huge after this fairly pedestrian event.
WM3: Hogan vs Andre. Still feels HUGE. Awesome spectacle.

Jake Roberts vs Rick Martel - WrestleMania VII As a kid I didn't think much of this match, but it has grown on me in recent years. Same. I watched this years ago when the WWF put out the anthology DVDs and I really liked it. Rick Martel deserves a lot of credit for that match, he made it very enjoyable.

WM7: Hogan vs Sgt Slaughter. Not as bad as I thought but a huge climbdown from WM6. Better than Sheik Tugboat though...LOL.
WM8: Hogan vs Sid. Stinker for many many reasons. Even as a 12 year old my interest in this was low.
WM9: Yoko vs Bret then Hogan winning. Where to start....Bret vs Yoko was pretty good and IMHO better than WMX because Yoko had put up so much weight by then. Hogan winning was...what it was. It was VERY popular with the crowd but the fact that he disappeared until June took the shine off that.

Owen Hart vs Skinner - WrestleMania VIII
I am pretty certain that Owenβs entrance music here is the same used for the Heavenly Bodies a couple of years later.

WM X: Bret vs Yoko. Decent but Yokos weight was def a factor and that finish is rotten. I enjoyed the celebration at the end but am still a touch bitter that the Steiner's WMX plans were changed and they should have been part of this as tag champs.
WM XI: Taylor vs Bam Bam. A lot better than it had any right to be. Crazy to think Bam Bam was heading for jobber oblivion and would be gone by December.
WM XII: HBK vs Hart. Like watching paint dry until the 47 minute mark. I have given this so many chances but its just a snoozer. A 30 minute match with these 2 not stalling and going all out would have been nigh unpassable.

Acting like 23-1 means anything lmao
I mean, all the drama was gone once the decision was made at the last second to end the Streak in 2014. Certainly could have been made out of nervousness for Roman's future. Another smash 'em up we've gotten numerous times from Taker in the past few years. An unwillingness to let Reigns ride in his comfort zone.
Maybe perhaps had some potential but was such a hamfisted approach to get Dat Dude over.

WM13. Taker vs Sid...not as bad as I remembered it? But it was rough no doubt π€£π€£
WM14: Austin vs HBK...when you take the state of Michaels back into account this was a kind of miracle. Very good match for Austins coronation.
WM15: Austin vs Rock. A real belter from the get go..& they'd better it again a month later at Backlash πππ

WM 16: HHH vs Rock vs Show vs Foley. A complete dud for me. Rock tries his best with the shovel full of sh*te hes been given but its booking overload. Austin not being available yet scuppered the original plan-but man it was way better at Backlash with that crowd. Would have been wasted here.
WM 17: Austin vs Rock. Absolutely brilliant match but obliterated by the ending for me. Completely out of touch with what the fans wanted. then they did it AGAIN in July. Good God.
WM 18: HHH vs Jericho. A match that had tons of potential but Jericho looked like a complete jobber on the run in and nobody cared. It was nothing to do with Hogan vs Rock or its placement on the card. Fans weren't interested because it was such a heavily telgraphed outcome with a face HHH who had already cooled off HUGE due to the booking of the angle with Wifey.
WM 19: Brock vs Angle. Great stuff and like WM14/HBK considering Angles condition? Its a minor miracle. I think they bettered this at SSlam 03 though.
