I Knew theres absolutely no chance we will be seeing an Owen Hart or Blue Blazer , Chris Benoit figures in the future and lately Mattel also added that they wont make Razor ramon, Earthquake and Giant Gonzalez too which i wasnt sure why. So my question now is who else in Mattel checklists that had absolutely no chance for a figure even in the future release? Thanks

When did Earthquake get added to this list? I only remember them saying his legends contract has/is expired. That certainly leaves him as an option down the line.

Chyna, Mr Ass, Road Dogg, Raven, Jeff Jarrett to name are few! From what source did u get this from? Just want to be sure and as for Owen hart, his figure will not be make cause owen Hart’s widow has asked Mattel not to do anything with Owen as a figure and they have to go by her wishes

Chyna, Mr Ass, Road Dogg, Raven, Jeff Jarrett to name are few! isn't Road Dogg working as an agent for WWE now? I don't see why hed be off limits, but it would suck to get Road Dogg without Billy Gunn

I thought Mattel came out and said any Old school DX wasn't going to happen. So I'd guess that's where Ministry came up with that which would make sense.

I'm guessing Mattel are being smart enough with their money to only use the legends signed by WWE to Legends contracts instead of like Jakks who went out and independantly signed their own talent to be made into figures? It would make sense for Mattel to do this as WWE could actively promote these Superstars/figures, where as they'd need to sign some sort of agreement with the talent (probably at a cost) if they were to use them in any way.
Also, I'm guessing that people like Raven are blacklisted because they are signed to Jakks (he has a Legends of the Ring figure, right?) and people like Scott Hall who don't fit the company image due to their drink problems?

That's right PJ. We have heard it alot of times that Mattel said that any old school DX figures were off limit. I thought Mattel came out and said any Old school DX wasn't going to happen. So I'd guess that's where Ministry came up with that which would make sense.

Billy Jack Haynes due to his intense hatred and criticism of McMahon.
Mattel said no to The Patriot. I'm not sure if they don't think he was popular enough or Vince is pissed at him for talking about steroids in wrestling. It's a shame because he is one the collectors want. Del Wilkes that is. Not Tom 'I stole Del's gimmick' Brandi.
All the TNA guys.
We'll also never see the guys who sued (and lost) recently in the independent contractor lawsuit. That would be Raven, Mike Sanders and Kanyon.
Brutus Beefcake told someone on this forum that Vince killed his action figure.
Aside from that... Mattel is probably hesitant to make guys that won't sell all that well. That's all I can think of.

I'd say the only figures that are an absolute "no" are Owen, Benoit, and probably Hall.
There are a lot of wrestlers that are on Vince's bad side who probably won't get a figure unless something changes.
I was under the impression that Earthquake wasn't turned down, it's just a case of him not having a Legends contract after his passing.

Benoit--Never! Owen, as long as his widow has control and not his kids, No! We can't rule out Scott Hall in the future, heck remember Jake the Snake and all his problems! The New Age Outlaws were a tag team BEFORE they joined DX, so we could keep our fingers crossed just for the slim chance.

All approval for figures goes through Vince, we can all do the math.

Earthquakes possible, he's just not under contract, which is weird cuz on wwe.com he is in the alumni section. Anyways get an earthquake figure made stat! And a second one with typhoon!
Razor ramone has been said off limits due to his espn special where he admitted to shooting someone
Long live wwe pg, never thought the future of wwf could hinder my enjoyment of old school wwf
Anyways, how about an rsc exclusive NATURAL DISASTERS? Wouldn't that be sweet!

The New Age Outlaws were a tag team BEFORE they joined DX, so we could keep our fingers crossed just for the slim chance. Exactly what I've said on here before. I think some people forgot that they were around before they joined up with DX. Also as someone else said there was word that James had signed back with the WWE as a agent. Which I would think would greater his chances of getting a figure.

I thought I've heard that the Iron Sheik killed someone too in the past? Maybe I'm wrong At least we can still make a great Scott Hall using Jakks heads and mattel body parts...

Jimmy Snuka did but Snuka and McMahon apparently are very close so he gets the pass. Owen/Blazer, Benoit, Hall, Original DX (Gunn, Dogg, Chyna, Id assume Xpac) are said to be no goes as well. Id probably add Woman (nancy benoit) on the list just because of the tie ins. Anyone under contract with TNA or UFC via jakks is off limits (Hogan, Flair, Lesnar, Shamrock) would be off limits Outside of that Its a crap shoot that we cant confirm only speculate.

Honestly, after I saw a Macho Man figure, I believe anyone is possible.
