I know this might be a stupid question, but since Mattel will be including weapons and other stuff in basics, I just wander, Do you like Basic's or Elite's?
Thanks.

CRAP! You know me too well, man! I'm gonna go with Elites, even though I prefer both.

I prefer Basics with Elite or Ralph's accessories personally. But the Basic crowd should be prepared to be landslided, as we usually are when this question comes up.

I used to be a Basic only collector, but after SDCC, I decided to make the switch to Elites. And I'm SO glad I did.

I Voted ELITE!
While I enjoy and collect both Basics and Elites, The Elite figures are just awesome.
I love the articulation, the accessories, the inclusion of colored in Championships, and that the tattoos are more detailed and colored in compared to the Basics.
While both lines/styles are great, I think The Elite line goes above and beyond, and I enjoy collecting them the most.

Elite.
When WWE was with Jakks, I would have picked RA over DA, but I think Mattel does a better job with elites.

Basics all the way for me and here are a few reasons why:
1. Deeper roster. Basics usually get made first before an Elite version. There have been several superstars that have only got the basic treatment.
2. Price. Each basic figure is usually $5 cheaper. That means you can buy 3 basics for the price of 2 elites.
3. They look more realistic. I am a display only collector. If you ask me, that articulation in the stomach looks stupid on elites.

^^^ This.... I hate the articulation on the chest, it looks silly. My sternum doesn't move like that and nor does any humans in this world...so why do they put it on figures ? Also the articulation just below the groin which twists.. Why is that there?
I think basics are better for display but Elites are probably easier to play with.

Elites 100%
I like wrestling figures that don't have to stand in a straight up position and can actually do what wrestlers do.

for the first year i bought basics only. i still buy a basic here and there, but a few months ago i made the switch to Elites. I think they are just overall better. The basics tend to look a little stiff. I hate the basic figures, usually the Edge's, that have the legs so close together. The elites stand a little more natural and just look better to me.

I prefer elites, but I get extremely bored waiting for 6 elites every 2 months. So I spend time buying basics, plus basics seem to come with updated attires faster

It depends on the character. Some look better in Basic form (Kane, Jericho, Show) and some look better as Elites (Shad, Tatsu, Barrett). I'm happy that Mattel made the lines in scale with each other so you don't have to choose a particular line!

I really like the Elites. It's nothing against the Basic figures but for the small amount of messing around that I might do with my figures when they aren't on display, I just prefer the increased play-ability with more articulation.

I hate basics, my 2 basics I own look like they're leaning and i've seen several basics that looked terrible (WMH Punk). ELITES!

Not big on the elites. Anyone who doesn't have a larger muscular body like Daniel Bryan, The Miz or Ted Jr end up having pre-pubesent torsos

I prefer elites. I dont like how basics look, and only buy them if I don't have a choice. I needed a Chris Masters figure, so I settled for his survivor series figure.
