I have yet to receive an email to date about the cancellation of my order, I have checked back and it still shows the status as back-ordered, I have written them and gotten the same response that is typical, after 30 days ya ya ya, you know, but no email cancel yet. I hope to hear good news but who knows. I would like to complete my Legends collection with the Rockers set, but if my order does get canceled down the line I may just order off RSC with one of my discounts I have which will still make it cheaper then Mattycollector!! But like I said, I'm still one of the crazy one's holding out for that miracle!!!!! lol

Yeah Mattel screwed Mattel, but I wonder if RSC kinda screwed themselves too with this move. While it's not exactly dead stock, it's stock that will move real slow (Flash Rey still available too). what I'm now worried about is the relationship between RSC and Mattel because of this - will we not see more Exclusives? All the posts that got deleted - and it was RSC in the end like everybody suspected. And Mattel being pissed at them - well RSC made their bed and now they can lie in it. Like somebody said earlier, it was a dick move (which they bought for 20 and are selling for 37).

I think we all knew it was RSC (WFigwiz) that scalped these and screwed genuine customers over, but it's nice to have it confirmed. It's kinda crazy that people are using the site that bought all of the MattelShop stock to complain about MattelShop running out of stock. It's absurd that MattelShop fulfilled RSC's order though. They should've cancelled that one and processed the actual customer orders.

If any thing mattel is pissed at the genius that listed them on mattelshop for 1 and for 2 listed them for 10 dollars cheaper.

The employees who sent them to MattelShop and the employees who listed them on the website (MattelShop) for sale should be the ones to blame. I said it before, but how do they make such a huge mistake? It baffles me. Mattel should be mad at themselves for letting this happen honestly.

So THIS is how we have to buy our Legends now as opposed to getting them in stores.
Good job Mattel.
Sorry to hear you got screwed over Chip.

I just want to clarify something here, that some of you may or may not agree with me on. I have no problem with RSC buying the stock they did and reselling. They run a business, and while local guys might not appreciate it - us international folk that get nothing from Mattel do appreciate it. And yeah shipping is high, but unlike Mattycollector.com I get tracking and it comes to my door step in a matter of days and not a month later if at all.
I'm hoping RSC and Mattel continue to have a good relationship so we can see more exclusives in the future that's all.

same here, i dont care who bought how many of what
my issue is that i placed an order for an item that was in stock...it then magically became "out of stock" and i got the runaround, with them saying they would honor my order and now just forgetting all that and pretending like it didnt happen
regardless of whethere i capatilized on a "mistake" if they want my money, they should've taken it and sent me The Rockers. Now they have screwed themselves out of the rest of the money they would have gotten from me for future Legends. Make it right? and i'll be happy and willing to continue to purchase Legends.

Damn man, that sucks. But it's typical. Why would they bother honoring orders where they would lose money? I think it's just such bs the way they jerked people around. Make up your f'ing mind mattelshop! Well they are also losing money by holding onto them. It would appear they made way too many for what demand there is for them. I would also imagine the $20 they were sold for is probably the break even point at least if not profitable for them. This is exactly what I've been thinking for awhile. Although I felt their initial "yes, no, maybe" stuff was silly, I figured it was their way of getting a better idea of which way this online endeavor was going to go. If it looked good, they could cancel the pre-orders, and carry on. If it looked bad, fulfill them to cover some/all costs, and then adjust their future production numbers for the line. In that regard, it could have been a smart move on their part. But as is, this is still just a laughable mess. Before, the flip/flop answers at least seemed like genuine confusion. Now, after all this time, it seems a little more on the unprofessional side. I still have my order pending with them. I'm at a point where I often forget I even placed the damn thing. If they fulfill it, cool. If not, then so be it. Less money for them I suppose.

I just received a cancellation notice after being sent the promise email. If they just cancelled I would have felt better than to pull this. I will ensure I'm compensated for this ordeal.

RSC had the sense of it snag as many as they could. The idea that this was a bad business decision is faulted in the number of sold sets they have.
Who's to blame? Mattel is. Like WFigs is owned by RSC....Mattelshop is owned by Mattel. If they wanted to make right to the customers who placed their orders and received confirmations, it would not be hard to secure additional sets from mattycollector and fulfill those orders. The blame lies directly with Mattel as a company.
I hate when people on here act entitled to an action figure. You maybe a collector or a big fan or whatever.....but that doesnt entitle you to that figure more than another. Yeah....I lost my order for these figures and it sucks. Will I be buying from RSC at $29.99 or $34.99 or whatever price it is they are selling? No. Why? Cuz I dont want the figures that bad. But I'm not entitled to them b/c I'm a fan and RSC is a business.

That really sucks. But me, I will never stop buying Legends. It's my main focus. Give or take somebody from today here and there.

Still haven't had my order cancelled yet but I have called mattel shop many times and no one knows what is going on. I am sick of hearing all the answers/rumors/emails and want a real answer. When are these supposed to be filled and why are some orders being cancelled and others aren't? Is it really that hard to take care of this situation Mattel? I have every elite, legend, defining moment, and much more from Mattel and will sell everything off and quit collecting Mattel over their poor customer service and handling of the situation. Everyone who feels screwed like I do should join together and file a complaint against Mattel with the BBB. Anyone wanna start an official petition or thread for this? Mattel has been very dishonest over sending the emails saying they would fill these orders then backing out.

I love how everyone is saying it was RSC who bought them all from Mattel shop. How do you know that Mattel & RSC didn't have a deal already in place for RSC's order? I mean RSC is probably their #1 non mass retail chain account for WWE product. How do you know it wasn't T0y W1z or spamS? Both have the items in stock within a few days of that Friday and for much more than RSC is charging. RSC - $36 + shipping TW - $55 + shipping spamS - $49 + shipping

The stock you see on their site is from that order.
We're frustrated by the whole situation too."

i really dont care if RSC bought up the stock, or anyone else. My beef is that they proactively contacted me to say they would honor it, then 2 weeks later cancel it. THAT is horrible. I will pursue this out of principle.

I just got a email saying my rockers are going to be shipped for $26. I already got a set from Matty so this set will be up for trade. Unless they back out of the deal

***update*** after two emails they called me today to tell me they will be taking care of me and anyone else that got the emails (honor and then cancel). He couldn't tell me what was goin to be done but should have a resolution in first or second week of January. He said they would be proactively contacting me with that resolution. Stay tuned.
