Mattycollector shipping cost is fair, but their shipping service is a disgrace it takes for ever to get the stuff. They use some shipping company and then the packages come parcel post. shopmattel is much faster than them I love how they claim its 2 different companies from what I heard from people it all ships from their Ontario, Ca warehouse, they try to push all the blame on digital river. I'll be ordering the Andres and the other legends and after shipping and taxes I'm looking at around 30.00 a figure. I never had any problems with them, but I've seen a few posts where they just pass the blame when they get asked certain questions. Mattel Shop ships from Kentucky. Lexington I believe.

Yes 2 different beasts. My Matty Collectors orders come from Ontario, Ca. My Mattel Shop orders come from Lexington Ky. As for Matty collectors if I select UPs I get it in 7-10 days. If not then it comes UPS Innovations which takes a day longer for me to receive...because instead of UPS delivering it to me my UPS driver drops it off at my local PO who delivers it the next day.

Just remember it comes by train so once it leaves the Ontario facility you won't see any movement on the package until it crosses the country and is taken to either the Parsippany NJ or Secaucus hubs. which could take anywhere from 7-9 days depending on when it left Ontario

Lexington? I thought it came from somewhere in Western Ky, closer to Louisville. If it was Lexington I'd get my stuff instantly, lol
EDIT: Yeah, came from Louisville

Ordering from Matty isn't the problem. The problem is the terrible shipping service they use. Digital River customer service is absolutely useless. They could have a bunch of monkeys run that place and they would probably do a better job. There is no reason it should take over a month to receive an order.

I saw movement on my tracking info for the rockers when it hit Chicago, then again in Ohio and after that i received my order 2 days after that update. So you see movement on it. It only took 2 weeks for me to receive my rockers to counting the day i placed the order that is. So i didnt think mattycollector.com was that bad to deal with. I been waiting a week and a half now from Amazon for my Hacksaw Jim Duggan that should arrive tomorrow and I usually wait a good week from RSC to get my stuff from the time i place that order.

Where are you located and did it come via UPS? Because I can tell you for a fact of working at UPS for 15 years they ship all ground items across country via rail (train). So people in NY/NJ/CT won't see any update until that trailer is removed at the rail yard here in NJ. Unless you aren't this far to the north east or it was mis-sorted onto the wrong trailer in CA you won't(Shouldn't) see any movement on it because the trailer it is in is on a train somewhere. The only time they can update the tracking is when the tag on the trailer it is on is scanned/logged into a hub to be unloaded.

Im from Western NY and I got the regular cheap shipping (Digital River or whatever it was) but yeah I got updates every other day on my tracking from them. Didnt get nothing for like 4 days when it left Ontario until it hit Illinois then I got it from Indiana, one from Ohio and i think I even got an update in MN before all that but i know every other day it updated where it was at and it didnt get to NJ at all.

Well it wouldn't go to NJ for anything before PA, upstate or western NY (Albany or Buffalo) as that is before NJ. They would have onloaded those trailers from the rails around the Ohio area and driven the rest of the way. (I think states like Mass & Maine would split there as well) But for people who I was refering to (NJ/eastern NY/NYC/CT) are below and to the east of Albany the trailers stay on the rails until they hit the rail yard in I think Port Elizabeth.
Yes there's been a couple times with a few of my orders from TRU or spamS that were unloaded in Ohio then driven to hubs in western NY, Syracuse NY before hitting my local hub in New Winsor NY, but 90% of my orders usually stay on the rails until NJ.

Ahh I see. Well like I was only saying was ya still get updates from the mattycollector.com orders every couple days the who way across the country pretty much, its just not as updated frequently as say amazon or RSC would do with every destination. I guess that is why mine never goes to NJ then though. lol
