I just wanna make this short and straight to the point..I'm 19 Years Old (Gonna be 20 this year) and I've decided to stop collecting figures for NOW. I've been having financial issues and other issues as of late, so my last resort is to sell MOST of my figures. It's been fun having all of these figures a part of my life. But sad to say I will be selling all of them. Most of my WWE Mattel/WWE & TNA Jakks and all of my Star Wars/G.I Joes/Marvel figures. I've been collecting figures since 2005, when I was 13. Aug 2007 don't remember what day. I joined an awesome forum called the wfigs.proboards.com/index.cgi. been a faithful member since then. 6 years being in the forums was a hella of ride for me in my teenage life. if I ever would do it again, I would do it in a heartbeat. but certainly not getting scammed on here. YOU!! TIGERCHEO or whatever ing alias you are ing using now!!! so anyways, some day I will be back in collecting. but as of now, this guy needs to grow up and face what is out there, so Please help me find a better home for my figures. This isn't the end for my collecting days. but it is definitely a beginning of better life. Growing up isn't easy as I would thought of. Because when I was younger I thought once I get older it would be easy like pie, But it isn't in order to fix things I have to face reality. So yeah thank you Wfigs forum and also the members for being a part of my life. Here's a look back at my last two collection threads that I have posted recently.(Most of them are for sale, only a few will be left idk..i just need the money..now) Thee WWE/TNA Jakks Figure Collection wfigs.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wrestlingfigs&thread=236496&page=1Thee WWE Mattel Figure Collection wfigs.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wftmattel&thread=236570&page=1Couldn't find my 2007-2008 posts but here's what I posted back in 2009 1000th Post Celebration:The Set-up/HardyCollection (Flashback 2009) wfigs.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wrestlingfigs&thread=154496&page=1^ I also sold half of them when I needed the money back when I was in the Philippines. Was able to recover my collection at 2010 and was able to make it awesome again at 2011. By tomorrow will be posting pics of my figures for sale on the classifieds. so please help me out Thank you for having the time to read and check out this thread. This isn't a farewell, this is just a bye for now.

Well, you will probably be back. People always return to what they love. Good luck! I will check out your Mattel sale stuff as some of it would be nice to buy.

It sucks that you have to sell, but the likelihood is that you will return when you can afford it, and every time you do have to part it will become easier and easier. You'll become a better person for it too, trust me. I'm 25 now, and over the years having to sell things to get out of a pinch has taught me the valuable lesson of saving, trying hard to find a good job, and that I am a person outside of my hobbies. Parting with stuff makes you realize that it's just stuff, and it's nice to have it when you can afford it, but not having it isn't going to be the end of the world.
Oh, also, even though my fiancee is cool with my hobby, and even buys me wrestling toys on my birthday and Christmas and has to deal with sometimes sitting in the car while I do a "quick- check" of the stores, I have to wonder what kind of first impression I would have made if I had any toys 3 years ago. Mattel's WWE figures were the first toys I had bought in about 2 years. All my toys were sold or in storage at my folks.

Sorry to hear about this, I hope that one day you will return. I had a huge Mattel collection last year but had to sell several times to pay off fees and to fund going to Wrestlemania this year. You can build it up again, it is pretty fun, All the best

i stopped collecting figures after the bca line ended in 99. I had just moved out for the first time into a apartment and so I didnt collect the Titan tron live ones ( i have a few of the early ones, not many, like 6 or 7) or the classic superstars ones. I just barely came back to the hobby this year because Im doing pretty well for myself in life (not rich by any means, but i have no debt other than my mortgage) and have put together a pretty good set of mattels so far buying online . Anyway sometimes its good to leave a hobby for a while and come back to it. I used to be a hardcore video gamer from 2001-05 and i havent really touched video games for 2 years. but i know i will come back to it probably soon.

I'm 27 and had laid off it for 11 years. Something will pull you back in. Happy trails though.

Always sad to see a collector leave even if its for a short while. I'm sitting here tonight writing this and wondering the same thing. If it's time for me to hang it up even if its temporary.
