What do you guys want added or improved in Madden 13? I want a highlight show that the old games used to have back.

Really, I'd love to have the radio feature back from the PS2 versions, and I'd also love to have position-by-position descriptions of each player. For those of you who don't remember that, an example would be the Giants versus the Jets, and the position would Quarterback, so it would be Eli versus Mark. It would break down how each player has been playing individually in the past couple of weeks, and it would say who the game gives the advantage goes to. I'd really love to have that back in Franchise mode, especially since I'm someone who goes a ton of seasons into the franchise (I think in 2010, I'm on the 2022 season...like, my franchise QB is Yves Jacobson if I remember correctly...so it would be cool to see updates that far into the franchises and such).

Wow, both of those would be great. I was thinking the other day that I wanted to see the radio/ highlight show back before/after games/weeks. How could Franchise mode be otherwise improved?

Well another thing I've always wanted was a storyline driven My Player mode. Honestly, I play My Player in NHL, NBA, NCAA and MLB...but for some reason, I've never been able to get into Madden's My Player. I'd love position specific stories, all enticing me to play on in the My Player mode. I mean, even if the stories weren't all that great. Maybe just the generic "inner city kid with big dreams" or the "blessed for greatness from his birth" types of storylines...just flesh those out a bit...and when your player hits certain position based milestones throughout his career, you'll get a cut-scene...and stuff like that...all ultimately leading up to the final cut-scene where your character is being inducted into the Hall of Fame. I mean, it came close a couple of years ago with the IQ tests, the family backgrounds and the semi-open world/sandbox type layout of the different cities...but I would just like to see them go deeper into that mode also...but that's just me.

Madden needs to concentrate more on the in game play and less on the menu clutter. Some sort of a training camp like they use to have would be alright. I dont want any storylines or build a career modes or any of that. Work on that stuff when you can get the game play correct. The closest thing I would do with that is to chose like your top 5 on your draft board and put them through the combine.

Being able to save your substitutions so I don't have to swap my D-Line, LBs, CB-S, etc. It gets really annoying doing it every game.
Hiding the audibles, or just making it assigned by button rather than scrolling.
More touch passes. Its hard to throw over the middle sometimes because the ball is either a rocket or a lob.
Have safeties bite on play action more if you've been running. Its like the computer knows when you're throwing or running every single time.
On the same token, make blocking better for play-action, also I'd like the RB to be able to come off of play action and block rather than always going out for a route, especially since you have to max-protect alot and run 2 man routes.
Less acceleration for bigger players, because honestly it ruins the game when a DT or DE catches up with a running back.

It's probably gonna happen no matter what, but I want improved commentary. I keep hearing the same things! Have the announcers record more or how ever they get the commentary. Also, more broken tackle animations. Hakeem Nicks, a couple of weeks ago, caught a pass, spun around a guy after being hit, not just the spin move, and kept going. I also really want a better halftime show. Talking about the best players so far in the game, who's not doing so well, injury updates, etc.

Difficulty is improved. All-Pro is way too easy and All-Madden is pretty easy too. Hate having to fiddle with sliders every other game. More accuracy out of elite QBs. Brees, Rodgers, Brady, etc. should be able to throw over a LBs head.

more penalties called and NO super jumping linebackers This, This, and THIS. I hate how your QB can be at the 10 for instance, MLB at the 15yd and a WR at the 25yd line but if you throw it 15 freaking yards down field, that MLB can still jump up and deflect the pass. They need to put some type of lob feature or something where the ball is thrown depending on how long/hard you push the button.

Madden kind of already has the lob feature, just tap the button quickly and the quarterback lobs it up in the air. Of course it's almost always tipped or intercepted. I see where you're getting at, though, and I support it 100%.

Everything you have said so far I agree with 100%, especially this. I can never really get into the superstar mode as it just seems so bland. Which sucks cause its one of my favorite modes to play. There is no real storyline, no special scenes, it just all seems the same, and really bland to me. Would also love to see the Radio show be brought back. I absolutely loved having that in between weeks during franchise mode. Also, I dont know if anybody here plays it, but the Be A Gm Mode in NHL12, once you update your scout a little bit, has other teams offering you trades based on who is on your trading block. And they are somewhat realistic in the sense that every player/pick has a trade value, and usually the cpu offers you a deal where the value is equal for both sides. Would love for madden to adopt something like this, has its useless putting players on your trading block when nobody is going to offer you a trade for them. This obviously only relates to offline franchise mode, but still, would love for it to be included.

I mean, I know I use Alex Smith and all, but damn.
