As we all know The Rock vs John Cena is the main event, CM Punk vs Chris Jericho, Undertaker vs Triple H, Big Show vs Shaq & Orton challenging for the World Heavyweight Title are all rumored. Considering Big Show will be wrestling Shaq and we already seen Orton/Henry WWE will likely keep the World Heavyweight Title on Daniel Bryan going into WrestleMania with him as a heel and Orton challenging as a face. The Miz vs R-Truth also seems like a feud that WWE will drag out to WrestleMania and only have them have interactions in promo's, the Rumble & The Elimination Chamber match. Cody/Goldust is also being talked about as a possibility.
This makes me wonder where does this leave guys like Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Kane, Ziggler, Zack Ryder, Christian & Wade Barrett?
The Money In The Bank match is apparently done and if the card I mentioned happens that is already 6-7 matches. That's without a Divas match too.
I can see Del Rio facing a Legend like Foley or something and possibly something like Kane vs Sheamus but then where would that leave Ziggler, Christian, Barrett & Ryder? Will WWE be forced to bring back the Money In The Bank match just so that they can fit everyone on the card?
Not to mention this is without including guys like Air Boom & Jack Swagger.

I dont know man i keep trying to figure it out but IMO there is too many top guys right now. so i fell soooo many people are going to be left off the card. If I could book it heres what I would do.

Winners are the ones in bold and I didnt book a divas match because I could give a rats ass what they do with the divas.

I hate to say this, but a lot of mid-carders will get the shaft again. The CT will book some meaningless 8-man tag or Battle Royale match to get guys on the card with little or no setup or post-WM importance.

This, this year reminds me a lot of 2007 where they had to leave a lot of big names off of the card, and where the MITB match was all main eventers |

I really doubt Daniel Bryan will be World Champion come Wrestlemania time.
Also, Randy Orton is out for like 6 months, I really doubt he will be on Wrestlemania this year.

Have you been living under a rock? Recent reports say that Orton will be back by Elimination Chamber time if not soon. As much as I wish Orton wasn't apart of Mania(just not a fan) WWE is making sure he will be. Orton/Sheamus has been done to death, Orton/Henry done to death, Orton/Barrett isn't likely to continue into WrestleMania because WWE just doesn't do feuds like that anymore and if they were in a mid card match at TLC what makes anyone believe that they could main event WrestleMania? It will be Orton/Bryan mark my words. |

I see Sheamus winning the rumble and going into the main event of wrestlemania for the Smackdown brand competing for the world title. As for his opponent, i hope and surely it wont be Bryan who must lose it soon.
Orton could slot into a match with someone else, depending on how they handle the current situation, he could face barrett in a final encounter.
Im really not sure where kane slots in at the moment. It will be interesting to see the direction taken because somehow the kane cena thing has to wrap up at the rumble so cena can go fully into feud with the rock.
The card seems like it will be very stacked, wont be a good one for the midcard/lower card.

I'm going with no, on both counts. I thought it was rumored they were bringing MITB back at Mania? Or not anymore? That will include a lot of names like Sheamus and Ziggler if it's true. I would like to see Undertaker face Wade Barrett or Del Rio if he is in fact returning, as Triple H isn't needed on the card unless HBK is going to referee. I think we need to wait to see what happens at the Rumble. Once we know who wins, and the outcome of Punk vs Ziggler, I think we will have a much better idea of what will happen. I'm personally pulling for some kind of Ziggler/Jericho/Punk triple threat match for the WWE title. Additionally, rumors are rumors, and WWE is an always changing landscape. |

I think Del Rio will face Mysterio. Mysterio did a WWE.com interview back at the Slammys and talked about how he wants revenge on ADR.
I really have no clue for other big names. I'd like to see Orton return and face Barrett at 'Mania but I think Orton will probably win the Rumble this year. I'm guessing some random 8 man tag for those who don't have a match.

Im guessing we'll see Miz/Truth, Orton/Bryan/maybe Barrett, but i wouldnt be surpised to see Barrett and Sheamus involved somehow, as I HIGHLY doubt Sheamus will win the Rumble. Why would they have him feud with Mahal and then win the Rumble? Pretty sure well see Jericho win the Rumble and Del Rio/Rey as well. Also wouldn't be surprised to see MITB brought back, as there was talk of that recently.

This is a cross between what I want and what I think would happen. Don't think both World Title matches will be triple threats but I didn't have a place for Dolph and a 1 on 1 match for the World Title didn't seem right to me. The Rock vs. John Cena

Not sure how long Reys out for so I put him in the tag match so he doesn't have to work a full match. Theres a lot of possiblilities and I can see a few big names not getting a match or being stuck in something like a tag match. |

I'm still betting on Wade winning the Rumble and Kane being Undertaker's opponent. I still think Barrett is a top favorite to win the Rumble as well. Orton's health becomes the wild card imo. I think Jericho, Orton, and Barrett are by far the 3 guys that make the most sense winning it. Although, we are not entirely sure either of those other two will actually be in the Rumble. If they are turning Bryan heel though, that could push Barrett out of that match for Mania, unless they do a triple threat. |

I say put the new people on the card and leave the Legends out, as much as I love them, we need to have new superstars on TV and not getting people out of retirement to star the showcase of the inmortals.

I believe he will face a heel Daniel Bryan and win the WHC, Whoever wins the Rumble this year will win the World Title at Wrestlemania. The winner of the Rumble hasn't won the championship at Wrestlemania since 2007. If the Rumble winner can't keep losing, then it makes the Rumble less important. As far as Orton goes, I could see him in a match with Alberto Del Rio at Mania. How we get there, I don't know for sure, but I could see it happening. Also for some reason I see Michelle McCool returning briefly with Undertaker and with Layla coming back from injury we will somehow get a Face Laycool v. Beth & Nattie at Mania. |
