Is it just me or has this season be a giant bore since the Daytona 500?

Ohhh bullsh*t!!!! The #48 penalties were lifted. Knaus and Malec are not suspended and Johnson gets his 25 points back. If that were any other driver, the appeal would been denied outright.

Yea that's a crock of crap. I don't understand how you can appeal an appeal.why not just keep appealing until you find someone that will overturn it like Johnson got.

Just wondering if anyone else was like me when they were younger. As on a wrestling figure board at one point we all played with wrestling figures. who else use to take their nascar race cars and race them around a track and keep a point system?

As on a wrestling figure board at one point we all played with wrestling figures. who else use to take their nascar race cars and race them around a track and keep a point system? Hells to the yes! I always collected the entire set of the 1/64th scale cars (still have most of them too). True Story, I actually invented safer barrier walls. Most people dont believe me but we had a HUGE entertainment center when I was growing up and I used the bottom of it for the back stretch wall. My parents would get bad because I would hit the cars against "the wall" and either scrape it up or the paint jobs on my cars. So one Christmas we got something that had a lot of styrofoam in it and I put the foam against "the wall" and kept the wall and my cars from being torn up!

I just won 2 free tickets to Rockingham. Score. Is it the truck series race? I hope this truck race coming up goes smooth, so maybe we could see Sprint Cup guys return there, that was always an exciting race.

They were all a matte grey and only had one sponsor logo on the hood and rear fender and numbers on the side and roof. I freaking LOVED those!

You know how people here have their big wrestling figure collections? Well my uncle has the 1/64 scale cars like people here have figures. All put up on his walls, and they're covered. Like wallpapered on his wall. And then on his entertainment shelf, he has the 1/24 scale cars. It's crazy to see. And in the space where he doesn't have cars on his walls, he has NASCAR posters. He's into NASCAR like most other people here are into wrestling.
Following NASCAR, of course, runs in my family. My family's been following it longer than football, baseball, or any major sport in this country...

I always took my cars out of the case (except the ones Ive gotten from my grandfather after he passed and my dad). I literally have hundreds of 1/64 scale cars dating back into the 80s. One of my most prized/favorite was a Rusty Wallace Miller genuine draft car from the JC Penny christmas catalog. Its not a big deal now but back then you werent allowed to advertise alcohol or tobacco on kids toys and this car had Rustys sponsor plain as day on it.
